Good price, I've had a 500gb buffalo drive for about 3 years now and never had a problem with it. Fast and reliable.....thanks OP.

same price as amazon not really a deal

RRP is a little optimistic.

Not that cheap as it's a standard 3.5"

same price for a seagate freeagent drive.

This drive is so irritating, plug it in and you'll be waiting two minutes before you can use it, EVERY time!

Sounds like you've got a faulty one. I've got two (one 500GB, one 1TB) and both of them start/show up almost instantly.

Good price! Almost made me want to buy another!

EDIT - Never mind, good price!

Excellent drives these. Have one plugged in to my ps3 via USB. Starts up very quickly

Nothing special . You would be better off getting a 1tb drive for just over £50

i've got a buffalo drive and had many problemswith it, wouldn't buy another

I have the same problem, not quite 2 mins but 30-40 seconds. Enough to be annoying...

The 89.99 RRP sounds ridiculous though.

Coming up as £77.99

link to seagate drive for same price play.com/PC/…tml

Why would you buy this over paying about £10 extra and getting double the storage with another external drive ?!

Looking to buy a 1tb external 3.5" drive any links ?

I'd wait a little while, another 1TB external deal will no doubt appear on here. There's a variety of places where you can get one for around £60 e.g. amazon.co.uk/Wes…VU/

Or you could buy an enclosure or one of those drop-in mounts, then buy just the HDD itself, you'll end up saving a bit in the long run if you intend to buy more than one or two.

had one of these for over a year now, never had any problems....

Used a few of these, they all ooze good quality build.

OP... the link doesn't work..... The price is £42.99 now...

If reliability and quality is your aim then I would choose a separate external case and buy a separate HD, prrobably something by WD ike a caviar blue or black.

Why doesn't my post make sense ??!! Thought it was pretty obvious...

Why buy this, pay £10 or so more, get double the storage.....what's so hard to understand there ? Are we not saying exactly the same thing ?
