Yeah, I was wondering that.
I know they get mixed review, but 60 quid for a 1TB NAS and a year's warranty isn't bad.
£89 for this on amazon, £94.99 at ebuyer, £95.99 at play, but each has a 1 year warranty - same as this manufacturer refurb.

Heat from me, I've just ordered one.

I'd take a guess and say these are the first revision units which can only take 1.07 verion of the firmware. Meaning no remote access, no FTP access and TimeMachine is a pain to get working.

Great as just a bog standard file server though..if a little noisy.

Would this be ok for my AC RYAN and watching movies? save my PC being on all the time

canada16, yes..AFAIK, it has a built in DLNA server.

Will buy one and sell my normal 1tb external as dont need 2, mate of mine explained this would be awsome for my set up especially with bittorrent on it.

You seem to have forgotten to mention P&P which should be added to title, as you cannot get it for £59.99

Have amended the title to include p&p,
The seller just added it, it was free when I posted the deal

I would not buy from these jokers, look at the other stuff they sell: eg...

They have the same NAS but its 500gb, and its free delivery, but this is 8.00? also on their own website its 4.00 for everything.
They put 8.00 delivery to make money, which is against ebay rules.

68.00 is still an ok deal, but not amazing considering its a refurb, and the rip off delivery.

I have just received one of these today and can confirm that it is a version 2 as the model number is LS-CHL-V2 and therefore will take firmware up to 1.37. I have never used one before but it does not seem that loud to me. It is easily drowned out by my computer fan. I agree the delivery is steep but the overall price is still good even if it is a refurb.
