hot for NAS

Good price. £200 at Play, more on Amazon.
Could not find reviews for this current model other than Amazon feedback (amazon.co.uk/Buf…WFU) which mentions a firmware fault when trying to play MP3s.
Good deal for your first post.

I saw the Amazon reviews too. I also noticed that some people had reviewed the older version of the same drive. So if anyone sees it cheaper elsewhere, take the time to check that it is the latest version. I don't think the old version had the Bittorrent client and also had firmware issues. I am sure there are other differences too.

I got one of these a couple of months ago but paid £200 - so a good deal.

It's great cause it just stays on connected to my router, that way the xbox and Archos can both stream movies, tv shows and music to the tvs in the sitting room and bedroom completely wirless. The only bad points are the Bittorrent Clinet thing isn't as good as using the PC (bitlord etc) and I haven't managed to get the media server set up and working from other locations yet (but I think that's more of an issue with my router not allowing access than the NAS drive).

But if anyone is looking for a NAS drive for extra storage (who might also be interested in having access to all their media from anywhere - media server) then I would recommend this drive.
