In-Built BitTorrent Client

Considering the cheapest price for the 1TB version is £157 at Oyyy.co.uk, this sounds like a hell of a deal.

There are however a few catches that are worth mentioning.

Firstly, it's so cheap it could very well be a mis-price so no guarantees.

Secondly, and the thing that's most likely to drive this deal cold, it's currently out of stock. But the stock checker claims they'll have some on 2/10/09 which isn't too far away.

Thirdly, and I mention this purely out of fairness, digital-fusion.co.uk claim to be selling this for £95 inc VAT. That's SO cheap that I can't believe it isn't a misprice. They're also out of stock too with no promise of any stock arriving soon so I'm nominating the Memory Express deal because it's still a steal and is more likely to arrive on my door step.

Anyways, there we go. Let the thermometer commence!

Wow, do the people who are cold voting even know what this is????? I bought the 1TB version for £115 a month ago and its an outstanding bit of kit, with the newsgroup downloader setup as well and HD streaming to the Xbox it's the best bit of kit I've bought in a long time

tried to place an order and recieced a phone call 20 min later saying they were going to cancel the order as they were unsure when they were going to recieve stock!!!

I paid just over £200 for the 1TB version of this around 10 months ago.

So this would have been a great price if still available.

Swines!!! Oh well, it was good while it lasted...

I think this item is a victim of ignorance, a lot of people don't understand how a NAS drive differs from a normal internal or USB drive and therefore think it is expensive. If you don't know what an item is, DON'T VOTE on it

Your spot on with that comment.

With this drive you can plug it into your wireless router and then only need to leave the drive and router switched on to access all the content of the drive from any source.

I have mine on 24/7 that way I can stream content to my xbox 360 in the sitting room and Archos in the bedroom all wireless and without the need for a pc to be on. I can also access the content via the internet (using the Media Server on it) using any pc or even my iPhone.

Awesome drive - ok they cost more than a standard External Hard Drive but this one does so much more, hence the slightly higher price.
