Another good drive ruined by stupid software

**** you marketing idiots who think cheap, unfinished software that promises big things make your product stronger on the market. Delusional idiots

Very good deal but i will never shop at play again, i bought a white ps3 controller from them early november and i opened it after christmas because my black controller was on its last legs, after 5 minutes i realised the triangle button did not work, i sent many e-mails to play and had no response, phone them last week was on hold for over half an hour and she told me to phone sony who were very helpful and said "you need to return it to the retailer as they will have a 1 year guarantee on all accessories, only ps3's get returned to us if they are faulty", i phoned them again and was put on hold for 20 ish minutes this time and they said you need to phone sony, phoned them AGAIN and they were very helpful but he did some research and found out play is not in UK Mainland :s, so im stuck with a faulty controller.

This is what will happen if you buy electronic products from play that become faulty that was not your fault.

play dont care about you
could always be naughty and get someone else to buy another from play then return your faulty one within 28days.
think you should be able to get refund rather than replacement if it was needed for a gift on a certain date.
probably illegal/fraud but then play doesn't really make it clear they dont care about UK law - perhaps its in the small print but still poor customer service either way.

good shout brilly.

+1

I only ever use Play for low-cost media (blank discs, flash drives, DVD films) etc. Would never dream of buying anything expensive (especially electrical) from them. I've come across too many horror stories.

Usually the difference on 'bargain' electronics is £10-20 when compared to other retailers like Amazon/eBuyer, and it's not worth the risk.
