I think you'll find that's drills.

Will this work as a backup drive to attach to my Humax Foxsat HDR?

it just automatically puts it on the post lol

Oh well never noticed tbh in nearly 5 years lol

Mods please sort out this annoying bug that I have repeatedly pointed out for the last 5 years!!!!!!!

I am returning this HDD, the usb is weirdly located on the side next to the indication light and the actual HDD is louder than my imac, not very louder but if you want a completely silent HDD, look elsewhere.

Heat Added though.

if you want a completely silent hdd then it will have to be solid state and for a 512gb one you'd be looking at near a grand. very expensiver

Yes, just format as Fat32

Hard drives are underrated on this web site, most people have a back up but what happens when your computer and back up hard drives FAIL? if your like me you would be willing to pay hundreds or thousands to get the precious family photos/videos off, it doesn't hurt to keep a spare hard drive with your back ups in your car or family members home.

hot

I bought one just in case my WD goes TU.

thanks - just bought

I work in a school and this comment couldn't be more true. A teacher recently lost the information from a portable harddrive with no other backup and ended up paying nearly £500 for a specialist lab to recover the information so a less than £40 extra backup drive might not be too bad an idea if you have lots of valuable information on the drive.
Heat added

Typical Amazon, when they get hits they increase the price, £42.53 now. Comparable deals date back over a year on this site. I'm waiting for another Zavvi_ebay_outlet cnm 80gb one.
