    Arrived today. The build quality far exceeds my expectations. It's built like a tank. This is a high quality, industrial grade piece of equipment.

    To compare this to the £40, 2kw generic hob mentioned further back in the thread is utterly ridiculous. The £40 hob looks like a toy next to this.

    I’m guessing this is being voted cold because it’s pricier than other stand alone induction hobs (eg tefal for £60). However, the one posted by OP is rated to deliver 3kw which is more powerful (tefal, etc are 2kw).

    I’m not sure of the prices of this model so can’t comment on the deal itself, but this site is weird sometimes you might have a 2 million pound car dropped to 1 million and it will get voted cold as a million is too much for a car or cheaper cars are available, but in my book it’s still a deal even though I couldn’t afford it!

    Wow, 3 kW on a plug top! Should be able to cook off the plug and cable too. Proper toasty. Then I suppose you can barbecue with the ensuing fire afterwards.

    Less than £40 gets you a more than powerfully hob that can stir-fry on a par with a gas hob.
