Good price - have some heat. I posted it about 20 minutes ago but my deal seems to have got stuck in moderation.
I was lucky enough to get this for £12-odd a few weeks ago from a local Tesco RTC (and warmly received by my new brother-in-law) - he usually drinks JD or Bulleit but raved about this one (he doesn't know I bought him another, from Santa ). Saw it in Asda for £23 the other day.

Polished a bottle off when the Mayweather McGregor fight was on, it was my first time trying it and i was pleasantly surprised given it's consistently low price, think I paid around 14.60 on prime day for it, so at only a pound more I think this is a good price. If I seen it for £12 in tesco I would snap it up.
Great price for this.
Really disappointed with this when I bought it in the summer for £15. Unrefined. Love it’s bigger brother (Eagle Rare 10). Hard to believe it’s the same whisky just younger and lower ABV. Aviod if your a whisky enthusiast.

One for the Jack Daniels & Haig Club fan boys sadly.

Bargain Bourbon Alternative: Makers Mark (sometimes available at £20) light years ahead of this rubbish
I disagree and much prefer this to Makers Mark
This uses to be 43% I think and was £17 standard when it was came over.
Much better than JD

Not that I'm a whiskey (or whisky) enthusiast but I did see a few Amazon reviewers speculate that maybe it's "not as good" as it was when it was originally 43% (the bottles I have are 40% as well). But there's lots of enthusiastic recent reviews on Amazon, all the same.
Yep, tastes great. Good value, thanks.
Great whiskey for the money, heat!
I was expecting (and hoping) this would be a Deal of The Day scenario.

3 days on and it's still this price, so I might have accidentally ordered 5 bottles.

In your opinion. I am a whisk(e)y enthusiast, having enjoyed all kinds at all price points. IMO, Buffalo Trace is one of the finest distilleries in the world and their entry level expression is excellent vfm. Why anyone would compare a bourbon to a single grain scotch defeats me - I note you said Club and not Clubman, which would have been a much harsher comparison. I would choose this over JD any time but each to his own.

That said, the bottle I got from Amazon perplexed me; it was not even clear. I called CS and they're sending out a replacement.

Perhaps I was being a bit harsh Antspam. It’s an entry level bottling targeted for the masses on a budget. It’s not trying to be an excellent whisky. It’s trying to be a jobbing whiskey crowd pleaser.

£15 a bottle, what the hell. Stick some colain the glass.

It's not even necessarily people on a budget. Sometimes it's just nice to have a reasonably priced standby. It's possible to enjoy a Noah's Mill every now and then while having Buffalo Trace as an excellent option for cocktails and even those dirty straight up portions.
No, I cant find it,,,Ove £23 on Amazon
