Tempted to buy this just to have it all in one handy box - not sure I'd make back the £70ish per season I paid for my originals though...

Have now seen a lot of Buffy in HD and wish they would start releasing it on bluray.

If only I could have £1 for every time I keep checking THIS for updates!
The currently HD transfers are so messed up that I wonder why they even bothered.
Case in point.

The HD versions are not that good but they are good enough for me.

Trying to play the dvd's on even a 28" 1080p tv is not that good, if I ever get a 4k tv I imagine the sd stuff will be awful.

edit: and yes 28" was a typo for 48".

I hate SD content more than anyone. But if a show is shot for 4:3, and going to 16:9 cuts off large chunks of the top and bottom, I'll pass. Sometimes you get more of the frame at the sides on the Pivot HD version, but you also get the added goofs of seeing the film crew, or characters that aren't supposed to be there. Go to 3m 35s on the "case in point" video in my last comment for examples.

And SD on a 4K/UHD panel won't look worse than on a 1080p panel.
