Bugaboo Cameleon 3 black base at £583.20.
Cheapest I've seen it go by far. No tailored fabric included but still a bargain I think. Includes the frame, main fabric, shopping basket and rain cover etc.
Not an older model - this is the latest cameleon model!

Let's not start an argument about what's the best pushchair, or how you wouldn't buy this one etc.... Just writing this post to help those who are interested.

Happy buying

Thanks

Great buy I want another baby just so I can buy this x

Cheers for the post. I tested this out last week but also came across the Bee which folded easier and was lighter. But this comes in at around £100 more. Anyone got this or the Bee and can offer real world usage advice?

I looked at the bee but don't really need compact fold and found the cameleon carrycot to be more newborn friendly than the bee cocoon (I'm not due until spring so by summer I thought the cocoon might be too warm). I like to go out shopping etc and you can't have baby in car seat for more than 2 hours so carry cot it is (rather than just car seat adapters or it wouldn't really matter which model it was). I think I'm happily deluded by the appearance of the cameleon though haha, would definitely go for bee if space was an issue. The bee does look good for older babies/toddlers though, so will consider swapping to it in a year or so if the two piece fold of the cameleon is becoming a pain. Sorry I can't offer any actual tested advice though.

Thanks baabaasheep for your reply. Our first is also due in the spring but looking out for the sales early on so can keep in storage for when the time comes. I wasn't aware you can't have baby in car seat for more than 2 hours so valuable lesson learnt I am not too fussed about the Bee or the Cameleon but my wife will be using it mainly to go shopping, walks and generally out and about during the week when I would be at work and therefore the Bee suited her on initial inspection in Mothercare. It seemed lighter and less cumbersome to fold and store away in a small hatchback. I think I might have to have another look before purchasing. The Bee is around 479/529.

Sounds like the bee is the one just checked John lewis have it at £350 on price match too! (Not the back edition though). Have fun shopping

I too just noticed it for £350 along with the reduced max-cosi seat adapters Will nip down to mothercare and try out both and see if they can price match or just order from JL

Thanks for posting originally otherwise wouldn't have seen the reduction.

JL don't make it clear which Bee colour is available ?!?

I think it's just the base (black seat) without the hood and the hood is available separately. I'd screen shot it on your phone and see if you can blag mothercare to price match with the hood as normally you wouldn't buy separately.
I've also heard mothercare are saying no 20% off on price match or bugaboo - but if you get a ditzy sales assistant they put it through shhh. Haha.

I have the bugaboo bee and it's amazing highly recommended my daughter is 6 months old now. I used to attach the maxi cosi seat till about 4 months. If your going to do this don't buy the baby cocoon I put her in this at 4 months and she was already to big so had to go straight to the footmuff x

I bought my Cameleon nearly 7 years ago. I've had 2 children and it has been used for both. We lived abroad to start and it was fab for coverage in hot weather. All fabrics can come off and be machine washed including the base colours. I walk for miles and have used it a lot off road with ease. Bugaboos customer service is amazing too. I can't recommend this system enough. We loved it.

Ive had a Bugaboo frog, Bee and Bee plus (latest one), in my opinion the bee plus is/was the best buggy ive ever had! Im a self confessed buggy addict! oO I loved the bigger frog (original cam) but as they get older and want to explore etc the bee just suits a growing child. Sold mine earlier this year for near on £300 so the £350 is a great deal and re sale/future value is fab! Miss my bugaboo but my baby is 3 boxing day so no more for me

Excellent price

I don't recommend the bee at all. It's perfect for small babies upto say 10months but after that the hood is flimsy for a toddler and the seat makes the child slouch because it's not a bucket seat. The straps are so tight that my son couldn't fit in it after 17 months and he's not fat or big! I would recommend the cam as a good lasting pushchair, also sturdy, you'll find the bee chassis very flimsy. I've had a frog, cam and bee 09 and bee plus and my all time fave was the cam.
P.S I'm selling electric blue cameleon fabrics (apron never used and hood) in box if anyone is interested x

Best prams ever. The resell value is really good too. That price is really good espesh from

I hadn't realised it was without the canopy hood. It is still a saving over the 439 price http://www.mothercare.com/Bugaboo-Bee-Pushchair-Base/306535,default,pd.html

Thanks for real use feedback on the bee. eme1i your feedback seems to have swayed me to the cameleon but would need to test it out again properly but was initially put of by it having to dismantle into 2 which could prove difficult putting away in the boot and then reassembling when get to destination?

Thats exactly why I loved the bee! When its chucking down with rain it folds/unfolds super quick one piece no messing. Also my daughter who was in the bee till earlier this year is very tall, she fitted it fine even though shes not 3 yet and the size of a 5yr old! Its great too as the seat depth and height adjust really simple. When the back rest is made taller the canopy and straps adjust with it too. Check out you tube bugaboo vids they explain it all! Bugaboo warranty/customer service is excellent too.
Good luck with your choice its a minefield!

I bought this from JL 3 weeks ago at full price.....rang customer services today and they gave me a £145 refund.....so, to baabaasheep..... thank you, thank you, thank you!

I couldn't recommend the bee enough by far the best pushchair I've owned however I preferred the original to the bee plus as the good was much bigger.

I an also I used it from newborn with the cocoon

great price heat added

Having thought about it all day and testing them out and hearing the feedback on this thread will be opting for the Bugaboo Bee+ at the bargain price of £351.20 thanks to baabaasheep.

I spoke to a relative who said the Cameleon just about fit into his Audi Avant and therefore would be difficult to fit in my smaller hatchback. The Bee+ seems less of a faff when getting around town and going places.

bIG word of warning- Order quick. John lewis have been price matching to 20% sale of selfrjdges. That ends tonight!!!

So, the special john lewis price might disappear in the morning.

We were going to go with the silver cross wayfarer, until seeing the bee in store. Only concern was the cocoon for a new born- but have been convinced it's just as comfortable as a carry cot

I also had a concern about the cocoon for a new born but juding by the videos and pics online and some feedback from other along with the helpful staff the Bee+ is a good choice overall.

Which colour kit have you gone for the Bee+?

Also how did you get 20% off the hood and cocoon as the JL website is showing full price

Good choice on the colour as am also opting for the red kit. Only this is I can order the price matched stroller, car seat adapters and cup holder but not the red hood and cocoon as they don't have the discounted price and nor do I see it on selfridges website

I've just had a baby! he's 9 weeks old now! I have the bugaboo Donkey but in Mono mode of course because I've only got the 1 child. The donkey is Beautiful has 4 impossible to puncture wheels and also has a handy shopping basket that can hold up to 5kg (easily a couple of shopping bags from the local Sainsburys!) As well as the normal underneath basket which is quite deep and holds up to 11kg! The Donkey is also a future proof investments because it unclips and widens into Duo Mode to allow for either Twins or two children of different ages I.e. newborn and toddler. Its truly fantastic, space hasn't been a problem and its definitely an eye catcher, several people have approached me and passed comment about the pram, all good I must say! The only snag is that although actually very simple to close, as it practically collapses by itself, the two buttons either side are very stiff but I'm hoping this will stop in time! I bought my Bugaboo Pram from Winstanleys Pram World which is both online and at a store in Wigan which is also where their warehouse is keeping all their stock! I bought mine and I had it the next day, unlike Mothercare and John Lewis and Mamas and Papas! At £840 with everything, tailored fabrics, base, shopping baskets and maxi-cosi car seat adapters! It was by far the best price at the time! I've also since bought Andy Warhol tailored fabrics from bugaboo at £149.95, which is pretty much a set in stone price! And people who are familiar with Bugaboo will know that our Countrys' little Prince George also has a Bugaboo! Best pram ever all models look fantastic and the finish and quality of the product are superb!

oos

Have the Cam 3.

Daughter is now 8 months and can vouch for its sturdy build, comfortable fit and light weight.

For me the Cam is much better than the Bee for most walks of life. The Bee's wheels and flimsy design limit it to city/paved life.

I've had the Cam on the beach (in 2 wheel mode, dry sand) in addition to walks in the Lake District, but as a Londoner it is equally capable on toepaths/buses etc etc.

With the additional bags and storage options it makes it a great all-in-one solution.

Fully recommended.

Out of stock.

Thanks once again baabaasheep for highlighting the price match. Ordered the Bee+ along with cup holder and car seat adapter. Looking for a good deal on the hood and cocoon but might just get via mothercare and 5% quidco unless anyone know where can grab a bargain on the red range?
