Interesting blurb. It basically say why these are a good source of X,Y & Z without actually making any claims as to why you'd actually want X, Y & Z in your diet.

Seems a good way to boost your chances of heart disease.

Not in anyway, if they were made up of X,Y & Z c.rap instead of a super food like coconut oil, eg: pure pig fat dripping from your roast on a Sunday, in a capsule, maybe so!

Its more of what they can do, to help stem the associated illnesses, by not having X,Y or Z in your daily / weekly / monthly intake..

Here is an accurate bit of curating, so a bit more info for all...

I also think you misunderstood my statement. I said that the advert lists all the things that are in the product but without actually saying why eating them was a good thing.
There's a quote a bit of information about how these charities who name themselves after diseases are anything but helpful.

Google Dr burszinskis documentary on youtube. and find out how these guys stop evidence based medicine by doctors , of pharmaceutical products, under the supervision of the FDA etc, are banned when found effective.

For example why isn't heart UK etc promoting a vegan diet, the only known diet to halt and reverse heart disease and blockages etc?

There's lots of stuff like this.

As for coconut oil, I would say stay away from all oils, dementia has a strong link with the narrowing of brain arteries . But if they think MCT can help, then sure try it.

I expect the reason they don't promote veganism is that "hard work" like exercise or eating vegetables gets ignored. Popping a magic pill however is more readily accepted.

Same reason we have "5 a day", and America has "3 a day" for Vege portions. It's not a hard and fast rule bit what the health bodies think they can realistically get people to try!

It's true that exercise is important however the diet that causes the diseases can't be jumping jacked away, and veganism isnt about vitamins, it's about eating whole plant based foods, and not Quorn burgers with fries.

I don't disagree, but I think they are just being pragmatic. Realistically the majority of people aren't going to give it 100% and kick all the bad stuff in one go.

Look how many people still smoke when it's patently obvious it's a terrible idea!
