Just be aware that 'smoky bacon' flavour has nothing to do with little piggy-wiggies & everything to do with chemicals liquids...(condensed smoke)... derived from the destructive distillation of wood chips.

I’m pretty sure the bacon one has bacon in it?

The sweet and smoky one is really nice.

I very much doubt it. As someone that's worked in the chemical industry for most of his career, I'm amazed that in 2019, this is still permitted for human consumption.

I checked the ingredients one day In store, they do have bacon in there.
How you make heavy aromatics based 'liquid smoke'. The absolutely 100% perfectly safe accompaniment to growth hormone infused, chlorine washed American chicken.

I love bacon, and I love smoked foods. Except this.
Horrible sweet chemical taste, I threw the bottle in the bin.
According to the ingredients on my bottles it says 2.5% Bacon amongst the ingredients. It goes well on ribs, if you coat them and then let them caramalise over the coals after cooking lo&slo

Luckily we have the strictest food safety standards on earth so this "Destructively Distilled Woodchip" will have been shown to be perfectly safe.

Right guys?

Guys?
What's the Japanese one called..... :/

According to this, it's been evaluated both in the US (where it's very prevalent) & the EU and yes, it's permitted. Despite longstanding concerns, if you allow natural smoking of foods, it's must be hard to disallow liquid smoke.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wik…oke

Having said that, I grew up in The Black Country in the '60s. Not only did I eat smokey bacon crisps, my grandma used to give me raw sausage to eat & raw egg & milk to drink. She also fed us this paste stuff made from sheep brains (which was actually rather nice) & a goo made from yellow, elemental sulphur & black treacle (which wasn't!). So that's childhood salmonella, listeria, scrapey & poisoning all covered!

I'm still here, which is great, but now that I have young grandchildren of my own, I won't be exposing them the same risks I was.
Not knocking the deal but can't recommend the bacon stuff. Isn't bad for one meal then you're completely sick of it. It's overbearing.
No Bulls Eye sauce of any kind in Maesteg store, its all Bramwells stuff now
Nice sauces these

If it's not a rude question, but did your Grandma live to a ripe old age? (i.e. not shortened by artificial factors smoking or asbestos etc.)

I think any marginal higher risks of cancer by potentially dodgy food ingredients today, have been offset by an order of magnitude, by safer roads, workplaces, homes etc.

Your doubt is misplaced, 2.5% bacon.

It has an odd taste though, prefer the smoky Chipotle sauce from the same brand, both cheaper in poundstretcher if you have one
