bumbo? really/

these are so good to use, highly recommend

i thought it was a poo seat

Yea sorry looks something you can pooh and eat in....

Got this last time it was on a deal, but was way to small for my 5 month year old.

I was given one of these, i brought a tray used about 5 times. Glad i didnt buy a new one. They look cute but didnt find need for it. The times i did i had pull her out and hurt her legs as she had chubby legs and got a bit stuck.

These are very poor compared to the Mamas and Papas branded equivalent IMO

Yep - The legs get stuck. Was amusing when i first put him in it, i lifted him up and the seat was attatched to him. Didnt hurt him but his legs was wedged in which obviously wasnt how it was designed.

I bought one with the tray and never used it. My boys were chunky and had outgrown the seat by the time they had the coordination to pick things up off the tray. I'd recommend just buying the seat x

Hideous dangerous contraptions!

Excellent product, bought one for our first child, used it all the time and now use it for our second baby all the time
Only dangerous if used unsupervised, but who would do that with a baby??

why not just use a high chair?

Binned the Bumbo and went for Mamas and Papas snug. They can be bought with Tesco double up vouchers making them quite a lot favourable to anyone who shops at Tesco and has points left to spend!

why not just use a high chair?

Because these are for when they cant support themselves, they hold the baby in position
They are also a lot more portable than a high chair

they aren't remotely dangerous if common sense is applied. why any halfwit would put a baby on a raised surface in one of these is beyond me.

I use these for mine and still going strong after 18 months. It's not dangerous but obviously please don't leave this on the kitchen table with your child in it. Ideal for floor.

If you look at some research done. These are very bad for the babies hips, they make them sit slightly forward with their legs slight raised which not only is bad for their posture later in life but also increases chance of hip displaysia.
I haven't voted either way as it's a deal site, but unless you only use very briefly (which doesn't seem worth it) then I really wouldn't consider having one!

Heat ! Been looking at these for ages! And in this colour. Thank u just ordered mine. They delivering Saturday too! Before Christmas yay.

We have one with the table and sounded a great idea but we never really used it. The thigh bits are tight so not very comfortable and its such a pain getting a child in and out as the front clasp the straps attach to always falls down under the baby. Once the baby is in to attach the table you have to hook it under the front which means tipping the whole thing up.
Good price compared to others but try a friends first before buying. I recently bought a much better one from Tesco which has a 360 degree rotating tray with toys attached. When he grows out of it you can remove the inner seat to make more room and this also becomes a seat to fix to a proper chair so the child can sit at an adult table. All that for about the same cost (although I used Clubcard vouchers).

they say that about lots of things these days. if its not seats it's baby carriers. yet to see proven evidence of a child with affected hips. if they were unsafe or caused proven long term damage they wouldn't be on the market.

I'm selling one on ebay and the bidding is at £6.30 with 14 hours to go ! Now that's a bargain

Bumbo bumbo bumbo. What a great name. Can you stick this on the ceiling?

I'm bumboing in zero gravity upside down on the ceiling. Time for a watery poo!

bought one - used a few times with 1st child... wish I'd never bought - waste of money - not needed!
