Mount Gay Black Barrel is my favourite at the moment. Picked up a few bottles recently at £23.80 on Amazon S&S. However it is not a spiced rum so, if that is want you want in your rum, then you don't want Mount Gay. My favourite spiced rum is Rumbullion but it is quite sweet and also expensive unless you pick up a bargain.

Yep been this price for a week or more, in my view the best spiced rum, its like a banoffee smooth taste. Old j was my previous favorite but its no where near as smooth although it is half the price !!

I've heard good things about this stuff. Pity it's spiced and not normal rum. I don't like vanilla in my rum.
It's more banoffee than vanilla , nothing like old j which is heavy on vanilla

The XO version, I've not tried it and it's another 10 quid more per bottle which puts me off
