I have been looking for one of these key safes and see Lidl have one coming up.

For the same safe, with the same dimensions, Amazon are charging £32.21

I think that RRP is totally inflated for this. We buy these for our Airbnb properties amazon.co.uk/dp/…FQ6

The best thing about them is the bolts that come with them. We've tried other brands that ship with fixings but they are all just standard bolts. Also, they are from a UK security company that sell to the police.

Looks identical to the Master lock brand. Easy to hack if these use the same mechanics.

Or putting your key on one of these, then fixing it somewhere out of sight.

Or fitting one of these to give the would be thief something to occupy themselves and hiding the key elsewhere.

Do you think these are better than Master Lock?

Personally, I wouldn't use one of these but If anyone is contemplating fitting one of these cheap key safes to store your house keys in, I would make sure you still be covered on your home insurance. (edited)

Had one in previous house but seem very vulnerable to attack.

Best off finding a sneaky hiding spot.

This ships with better fixing bolts. I think the actual keysafe is very similar
