I have never seen a burger from a fast food chain resemble that picture......usually they are flat, cheese stuck to the wrapper with limp lettuce.

Film worth watching, here's a YouTube clip from Falling Down (1993) - Great outstanding performance from Michael Douglas "and you ma'am.. how's the food..." "weifowefoiwejif"X)

Voted hot to counter the "stating the bleedin' obvious posts" fast food threads always attract.

They use food stylists. Most things are plumped up with mashed potato and painted.
Don't forget they deliver in some area's too
Burger King Delivers

Although it takes around 45min-1hr in my area oO

Worth a try. Sometimes I have fun at staff & demand a new fresh one made as a special order with no mayo. You can always get mayo sashets after. Always seems to work & most turns out better.

i dont have mushroom for this deal!!
Personally I think Burger King kicks Ronnie's backside, but their distribution of outlets is appaling. At least in North London it's truly awful. I would either have to go to Wood Green or South Mims service station. Neither is within 5 miles and I live in Zone 4 of London. On my way I would lose count of how many outlets the Clown has...

They deliver here but I can't bring myself to use it as the menu prices are so much higher than in store, and of course you can't use any of the vouchers etc you might have.
Its all cooked in a microwave anyway.

Across the flame to give it the marks, then into the broiler to steam, and finished in the microwave before being served.

Was my first ever job ... lasted 3 weeks!

I only had a burger once look like the picture, I think it must have been made by a trainee who was being supervised so they did it perfectly.

People who eat burgers are the kind of people who don't really care about where there food comes from or how its cooked. They more than likely eat rustlers burgers anyway. No real surprise for me. I'd still rather eat here than any other fast food chain.

I'd be guessing you'd be getting their 'special' mayonnaise with those comments. Safer without!

Its a Coca Cola/Pepsi Cola scenario situation u have here?.

Coco Cola came first to begin with, & their 'Marketing Strategy' they used from the off (eg. exploiting the then international potential of both the First & then the Second World War/s, etc?), inevitably ensured their powerhouse effect they have around the World today!, McDonalds over the course of its own time has utilized 'similar strategies' for its own part too ... (where as both Pepsi Cola/Pepsi Co., & Burger King not quite so, etc, etc ..... )

Thats why in-part the answer to your 'today' frustration I guess?.

Such is life ..... lol.
Had the mushroom double cheeseburger yesterday, was bloody awful oO
veedubjai

You need to try a Carl Jnr's / Hardee's then when you get the opportunity! (_;)
So long McDonald's double cheeseburger! My standard 'stuff something in my face to keep me going until I get home' for so many years now...

Although BK are at a disadvantage in that there's not an outlet every five minutes like there is in central London.

My friend took me to Five Guys on Upper Street . It was just as sweaty for about three times the price. Definitely a better burger though!
Anyone tasted the Big King? It tastes exactly like a Big Mac!

Wished they bring Fire-Grilled Ribs like they had in USA. Shame BK or other American diners in UK don't try to promote more American cuisines over the pond & the Americans love their barbecues.:(

To be technically correct neither do Mcd's - they use Pickles, which although part of the family it's not the same thing.
