I had some of the salt and vinegar ones the other day that were only about a month past best before and they were a bit soft and not that appetising, so might not be worth going for.

Oh gosh I've not seen these for years, I remember superdrug used to do single packs. Never saw them anywhere else and I'm going back to the 80s. I know it wasn't that long ago but things like these were a rare treat, we never got fast food. Snacks and fizzy drinks were allowed for one day only, Friday night and it was limited. My younger brother and I were given 50p each on the way back home from school and we stopped at the corner shop to stock up for the night. It was actually great how much we got. Of course we hardly got the real chocolates instead stuck to fudge, milky way/bars, curly wurlys, space raiders, hoops and tubes, fizzy coke bottles, cola cubes, shoe laces and the like.
I'm actually trying to find the name of cheapo crisps, they were very small like 3-5mm in length and quite narrow and hollow. Very thin but full of flavour, most were mashed due to the construction. I would love to know their name and to get hold of a pack would be heaven. I think they were potato based and quite hard to get, they only popped up a few times a year, I don't know maybe stockist or just not popular.

You haven't seen these for years, where have you been ?

These have been on the supermarket shelves for maybe 2 years.
