Makes sense. Bush make some great audio equipment.
You are unlikely to get a better item at that price...heat.

Can't help but feel this will sound terrible. Total weight is 1kg and has 4 drivers in there. Cheap, but will sound every penny of it. I'm saying that but the reviews are very good, perhaps pigs do fly?

Starting to like the idea of a sound bar. Better than cables trailing. Or expensive bluetooth speakers
I got the 4.1 version of this with a separate sub about 5 years ago and it's still working great. I like many people were wary about Bush, however I was pleasantly surprised by its sound quality and volume. I can't say much about the quality of this one but ordered it as its for the kids play room, so it should be fine. Thanks OP, have some heat.
I'm about to pull the trigger on this. If anyone can give me a good reason not to speak now or forever hold your peace

If it's for a second TV I'm sure it will be okay, I'm hoping so anyway!

It's garbage, only suitable for a small TV in a small room... Takes ages to get he bluetooth to connect... then the options for the EQ do absolutely nothing, sound quality and volume level are pants... Yes, I wasn't expecting anything mind blowing but something better than my TV's speakers... but this thing is pants. Definitely being returned.
I bought a "Bush 2Ch 45W Sound Bar" for £20 from a deal on here and was pretty pleasantly surprised at the acceptable sound quality for the price. Gone for this one to replace my Anker Soundcore (another deal on here (embarrassed)) in the hope that it's similarly good for the price. Thanks zgaguska
I've just collected mine and will post later how it is, just FYI I've just seen these in Sainsbury's for £50!
Ordered 1 lets see how good it is

What's your opinion on it? Worth a buy?
Ive just collected mine now not set it up
For 27 quid...its gotta be worth a try...they never going to match the performance of ,£200 + speakers...but for that price...who cares
Hi, sorry for the late reply but I forgot.... I'm using it for a second TV in the house and it's perfectly OK, especially for the price. As previously stated, it will never match the performance of more expensive soundbars, but you do get a lot for the money. I have mine connected via headphone socket, and once treble, bass, volume and EQ Are set, I just use the TV remote for volume. Hope this helps?
Bought this yesterday and set it up last night on a philips 32" flatscreen tv with the internal speakers shot, whacked this on it and wouldn't connect to my rca sockets or via Headphone jack, seems the internal board in the tv is shot that controls these outputs..
Thought after reading a few reviews on Argos that I would have to take it back as one of the reviews stated that the soundbar wouldn't connect via blutooth to an Amazon firestick..
I have a firestick 4K and thought I would give it a go, it connected immediatley and also as a bonus reconnects automatically as soon as I turn the soundbar off and on.

Its got a good sound to it and is adjustable via the small remote control, not as responsive as most full size remotes but does the job, adjusted the treble and bass and its got quite a nice sound and is pretty loud although not ear splitting like my Onkyo AV 7.1 setup..
Couldn't see how to adjust the equalizer function as no on screen prompts or menu comes up

Perfectly acceptable for a spare room or bedroom

It had no problems connecting up to my mobile phone and Samsung tablet via blutooth and played music to a decent level, you do have to unpair and re-pair each device though as the soundbar can only connect to one blutooth device at a time , I'll only be using it to connect to the tv though so no biggie for me

It has RCA and speaker jack inputs, no optical out on this but very quick connecting Blutooth
Worth £26 hell yeah!

EDIT
Just worked out how to use the equaliser function
You basically have 4 different presets
Movie Mode
Music mode
News mode
Flat mode
You just cycle through them via the bar and the bar flashes twice when each mode is selected, not the best form of selection but it works ok if you use your ears, you can hear a distinct tonal change as each preset is selected..
Movie mode is the default out of the box
Also pressing reset at any time defaults the bar back to movie mode if your not sure what preset you have selected

Great deal and thanks for posting. I reserved it, then Argos pointed me towards this one: hotukdeals.com/dea…922
I know it's a few quid more, but I just don't like the bare look of the front of it. Bit garish for me.
I didn't know bush made spirit levels....Can't believe I got that comment in first!

That maybe the case because on my soundbar it actually says on the specs cover "Made for Bush for Argos" that would possibly explain why its got a good sound to it, I done a little research and the only thing I can turn up is that Japan semiconductor make some components for the Bush brand.
I'm betting the neodymium drivers in this soundbar are possibly from them or another large component manufacturer, either way its not made by Bush its just labelled up as.
Can't beat a bit of Bush....

Well... unless your name is Graham Norton!!!

I think the Bush brand is owned by Argos/Sainsbury's now.

Got mine last week and set it up using a headphone connection to my docking station at my desk. Works well for that purpose but does not turn on automatically. It turns off automatically though.

Thanks OP
My power button is flashing red on this and I can't connect it. Any help? Will give a genuine review then
