Instead of just voting cold does anyone want to tell me whats wrong with it please?

My sis is planning on buying this.
Seems a reasonable deal to me.

Something doesn't ring true though - its advertised as having 70w RMS audio output but on televisions this size, you'd be lucky to get around 7w RMS. Most of the reviews on the Argos site are positive but there are a few people saying the sound is poor and sounds like a laptop which would lead me to believe that this 70W RMS audio claim is a load of tosh.

Still a reasonable price for an integrated LCD/DVD. I paid around £230 for a similar Toshiba unit on Staff Purchase a few months ago.
The price is still good http://www.picturehoster.org/storage/11.jpg
Whats wrong is the name brand bush :giggle:
Made by VESTEL in Turkey. Who also make the same TVs for other "branded" makes such as Toshiba, as well as the "no-names" that no-one complains about.
People here just like to compain about bush. Dont know why, as Ive never had any problems with either of mine and would happily buy another. Bush is owned by ALBA plc, which also includes ALBA, Goodmans, Hinari, Ministry of Sound, Breville, Dirt Devil and Hinari brands. Not leading technology, but your not paying leading technology money. Buy it, you wont regret it, and dont worry about the brand snobs here.
Vestel used to make OEM Toshiba stuff but having just spoken to a buyer in Toshiba have been told that they are pretty sure they don't make Toshiba stuff any more.
