ok i got this tv last week and i have to say for the price its very good, having owned the lcd version which argos took back because the speakers were faulty, i can honestly say this is a better tv, sound is much better on this one, the remote control is better with a dedicated 3d button, from which you can choose side by side ,top bottom, frame packing and line by line, the coloured(like the old fast text )buttons are on the bottom, i always tried to use the remote upside down on the other remote in a tv lit bedroom used to drive me mad, there is a 2d to 3d converter but as far as i can see you have to go into menu to use this, picture quality is good, very good for this price range, the tv is very slim and sleek with a small bezel, there are 3 hdmi, component hd ,usb, coax audio out , earphones,ci slot, vga in,vga audio in ,rf,video in,audio in and scart, media player recognised 320gb portable hard drive, but appears to only play xvidand some avi files which is a shame as the interface is very good, and yes the 3d is excellent as good as my sons lg450 tv

Anybody used this tv with a games console yet ?

I like Bush.

I have the Lcd version and seem to have a speaker issue as well, I bought the tv around Nov/Dec thou so wouldn't imagine I could return if after so long. May I ask how you returned yours? I am assuming you returned it within a few weeks? Thanks

Hmm might get this for my games room, what's it like with the PS3?

Got the LCD version a while back, it's good with games the picture is great but the sound isn't great I had to get a pair of speakers, and some of the remote buttons don't seem to work although you can find ways around it. Nonetheless absolutely great deal, you really can't go wrong with this and the 3D is great !

i got mine just after xmas paid 249.99 took it back about 3 weeks ago, couldnt find reciept but had tag on box with time of purchase, it said 1 of 2 items , they didnt have any instock so they put 249.99 on a gift card for me,didnt bother asking me about bluray player..result, waited till an offer came up and got this, so got this tv and bluray player and still got £30 vouchers

Bush is best when it comes free.

Someone bought my daughter a bush tv and it had problems within a year...will avoid this brand now.

Reserved one and contemplating picking it up tomorrow. Anyone seen any reviews floating about or know the model?

I have had the bush 24" full hd tv for a while now well over 2 years no problems at all guess it must be hit and miss the old versions of the bush TVs had sound problems but the newer models like this one are better

Don't watch any scary movies on the toilet in 3D, you may $h!t yourself! xD

Picked one up yesterday lunchtime to replace the other Bush 3D Argos did around December time... Kids playroom telly.
Much more aesthetically pleasing and lower energy consumption.
Sound is noticeably better immediately. I Can't comment on picture too much yet (they haven't been on FIFA, Skylanders Giant, etc yet) but looked okay on set-up.

When I first started dating my wife, she had a Bush TV....but the remote control never worked properly ...oh how I'd laugh to laugh & tell everyone "My girlfriend's Bush is out of control".

Picked one of these up today, using it in the 2nd living room and first impressions are that the 3D is much better than the 40" Samsung 3D TV in the main living room! Very slim unit and all the connections are on the side/bottom so the TV can be mounted very close to the wall. Only drawback is there is no optical audio out, although there is a coax digital audio out that I'm using instead.

Anyone tried out the 3D on a PS3 game?

Reserved. Thanks

Bought this tv today. its nice and slim. i have just tried a 3d bluray and it was awesome my ps3 detected the display and i had to set the res and tv size and that was is. the glasses are cinema type. played uncharted 3 in 3d and it was also awesome as was superstardust.
i got this for upstairs bedroom gaming and film watching. i have had sony, lg, toshiba in the past and was thinking this was going to be crap but boy was i wrong, the sound is ok aswell. get one now, i got it on my argos card with 6 months interest free. Bargain. Feel free to ask any questions.

Glad to hear it as that's the purpose I wanted it for too. I tend to play games with a headset so sound is least important for me.

How does the picture quality from the PS3 compare to other brands you have owned? Is there backlight bleed or anything like that?

I'm finding a huge improvement on backlight bleed from the previous model - so far. I sat and purposely watched for bleed yesterday and was really impressed.
On previous Sony, Toshiba and Bush models the bleed has been noticeable to intrusive - this set seems to be notable for it's relative absence on the whole.
For the money it is a great buy.
The UI is vastly improved over the previous model, but is still typical Skymedia-esque.
Functional remote and good 3D performance within normal viewing angles.

I've got the last one reserved in my local Argos. Think i'm gonna be picking it up lunch time. Too tempting even if it's just to mess about with the 3D and my PS3

I would not have gone for a BUSH TV but for £220 – which is the current Argos offer - for full HD and 3D I thought I would risk it.. So far its brilliant, with superb PQ esp. with 3D Blu Rays, which display amazing depth and clarity - I'm really struggling to fault the PQ particularly if you take a little time to set up your 'personal' settings. The only downside is the sound, but I added a pair of cheapish external speakers, so its not a major issue.

The 2D to 3D work quite well, giving depth to the image, but lacking the pop of true 3D... TBH is not something I use.

I looked a several models before buying this, and I swear this has equal or better picture quality, even against more expensive 'better' brands.

I just hope its reliable, but only time will tell... so far it seems Bush has done good

There is no backlight bleed at all on mine, the display is pin sharp with vibrant colours and razor sharp text and images. the ps3 games are awesome and this bush tv is up there with lg and sony and dare i say its even better. i have always been a big brand buyer but this time i thought i would guve it a go i reckon ther e is an lg panel inside as the quality of the image is superb and the 3d is just as good as the cinema complete with pop out of screen moments, i want the 3d version of prometheus as this is the 3d bluray to own so reviews say. the build quality is fine aswell. the sound does not have a great deal of bass but is fine for me, there is a coax digital output for surround sound and a headphone output so you can connect to a variety of speakers for added boom lol.
so is it good, yes its exceeds my expectations. is it a good gaming screen, yes great on ps3 and 3d ps3 games (uncharted 3 is awesome) with no motion blur. should you get one, yes slap it on your argos card and have 6 months interest free. i will get some right angled hdmi cables as hdmi 1 and 2 are a little tight on the bezel but this is not essential.

I bought this earlier today fully expecting to be making use of argos's 30 day refund policy.

I'm actually very surprised by the quality of the screen.

I've only tried it with my PS3 so far and games like Batman Arkham Asylum look great in 3D.

It seems much better put together than I would have expected from a Bush.

It is worth noting that it has a glossy screen which is pretty reflective but there is minimal backlight bleed and the image is sharp. Obviously with it being a passive 3d set the drop in resolution when viewing in 3D can be noticeable if sitting too close but on the whole I am very impressed

The hdmi sockets are a bit snug to the case but I got standard straight ones in without too much trouble.

I am pretty sure that I will be keeping it and would recommend anyone thinking about it to give it a try, its definitely much better than you would expect from a Bush, you can always return it if you don't like it

Bit the bullet and got this today (along with a free £10 voucher)

I have tried various PS3 games including Uncharted 3 in 3D and the picture is great, alot better than the Samsung I replaced (which to be fair was a very old first series HDTV).

Also tried various TV stations such as BBC One HD and so forth and they all look great too, well worth £220.
