I was wondering the same thing! :-/

and its argos so its not some website where you have to wait forever for help if something goes wrong

This is HOT!

This model seems not to have Freeview
HD. Bush is one of Argos's own brands.
I would sooner pay £50 or £60 more
for a brand name. Richer Sounds do
an LG 42" for just £349.

Yeah, fair enough - but if your Mrs tells you the budget is £300, you either get this TV, or a new Mrs!

Personally I would buy a slightly smaller screen
from a brand I know that had the features I wish
to see. Buying a TV without Freeview HD is a
backward step. Size of screen on its own is not
the way to rate a TV. However, the choice is yours.
If you can get a new Mrs for £300 then good.

What if someone has no need for Freeview HD as they already have Sky, Virgin, Youview, Freesat.etc?

I agree with most of what you said, but TV without Freeview HD isn't necessarily a backward step. I'm after a new TV and I'm not at all fussed about Freeview standard or high definition. I mostly play games or watch my library of media from my attached microserver. Even 3D is more important to me than Freeview. I know this isn't the case with everyone, but for some reason you saying no freeview is backwards bothered me so I thought I'd get my 10 pence worth in.

Well done, 10p well spent. I hope you are not as bothered now.
Have a great day.

Thanks. I really like to think so. It was certainly nice to get it off my chest.
I will do, and I hope you do too.

I got this same tv from Argos in November for £199, bought 2 extras to sell for profit. Don't see why this is hot

heat from me !!

yes and those 2 sets could have gone to someone who needed it not someone after a few quid thats why companies cancel deal because of people like you. I bet you called asda when they cancelled you £100 food order for £7.50 and asked for a voucher to say sorry to you MUG

Umm no actually. I don't extort deals. Yes, I've got over £2000 of free stuff from Tesco but I don't go OTT on things so do one you hating ****
