If you buy this please remember the phrase 'you get what you pay for'.

Still a great price for LED and Smart TV.
Hotted.

Have you got one kingsworth

Arr another person that knows nothing about mass produced electronics! If you open that TV up do you think you will find that all the electrical components have been made by 'Bush'? Nope you will find that a lot of the components will be the same as those found in more expensive TV's...

Thought point of this site was to pay less not more!
Paying more for something does not necessary mean its better
Great find heat added

Looks like a good deal but quite a few reviews comment on the poor sound quality, limited smart hub apps, problems with wifi connectivity and sluggish response times to user input via remote control.

Voted hot for the price though

the fact is you normally do not get what you pay for these days thats why people go for bargains

Freeview HD?

Nothing Smart about a Bush product

Yes, i believe that's how it works. You pay for it. You get the goods.

Practically any manufacturer is better than Bush or Alba - these only make for Argos and were panned in tests by which? for their poor picture & sound quality. try and buy a branded TV , even a refurb if you have to as like Kingsworth said : 'you get what you pay for'.

That phrase pretty much sums up this TV.

I'm not saying this TV is a pile of the brown stuff, its just not as good as a Panasonic/Samsung/Sony/LG. This is made to a price by Vestel, their TV's are very cheaply made and often fail in a spectacular fashion, sparks smoke etc. Check some of the Finlux (Vestel re-badge TV's like this) TV reviews on Amazon and Ebay feedback. Comparing this to a main stream brand is like comparing night and day.

Vestel often use decent Samsung/LG Panels on their TV's but when the electronics driving them are poor and unreliable, what's the point?

Just for you, here's a photo of my Bush PSDAB2004 DAB radio.

I bought it at the latest in the summer of 2006. Still going strong, I've used it most weekdays since then. Pretty good for £50! I got what I paid for

Thanks a lot, now I’m officially prevented from shopping in Argos. All I did was take your advice, ask the young lady on the customer service desk if I could open up her Bush, and I can’t remember what happened after that.

motion rate 50hz forget it

Please i strongly recommend buying from amazon the lg 32/42" tele. They are around the same price with 100hz refresh rate. Plus thats amazon.

the price for size and features is a great deal imo. paid this price for a standard 26 inch bush 2 years ago which was basic 720p for my ex gf house. got a panny myself

I once went out with a girl who had a massive bush, was just about the right size for the bedroom

failures due to smoke and sparks is down mainly due to poor circuit design and not to the components that are used, although you can get faulty batches of components thats another reason why expensive electronics can fail early as well

LG 32LN540V 32-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD LED TV with Freeview HD/Intelligent Sensor/HDMI Connectivity

I've got a old TV that I believe is probably Vestle made from Argos it's probably about 5-6 years old and there is nothing wrong with it. It is only 19inches as it's for a small bedroom and it has a max output of 1080i but as I said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it (touch wood). Think like most TV's it's a bit of a gamble if you get a good one or a faulty one. Our Toshiba TV is about the same age but gave up the other month. Voted hot it's a good deal especially if you're on a budget if you can afford a big brand one of those will more likely last longer however you could get a dodgy one.

If you've seen the inside of a Vestel TV, especially some of the older non-led versions they're totally shocking, the newer models/thin chassis aren't much better either. You have cheap caps barely adequate, poorly designed power boards as you say causing cascade failures, loose wiring harnesses as well as wires going here there and everywhere.

I know other manufactures have had issues, Samsung and LG mainly with bad caps and soldering but even them at their worst in 2006/7/8 is far better than Vestel currently. Cheap yes, will it last past the two year mark probably not.

TV's that don't have model numbers make me suspicious. TV's with that EAN number doesn't seem to be sold anywhere apart from Argos and ebay.

If your not going to play games on it, or use it as a main TV I guess it might be okay for the money. I would rather spend a little more and get something perhaps a little better with more info to back it up. If I turn all the image processing off on my TV it's like running your eye over a cheese grater, it makes a huge difference. I have a feeling this is what the TV will lack. Probably along with contrast and be really laggy.

Doesn't mean it's put together well, has fast ,efficient software or the quality history of others.

I agree there are gems out there to be had but there are also reasons some things are almost permanently cheap

I brought this TV a few days ago for my ps4 in my games room, it's absolutely worth the money the TV is ace. I've always brought "expensive" tvs as they say but honestly this TV is amazing sound is great unless you love loud music and movies all the time but for a casual everyday good TV it's fantastic

Bush is horrible, I can't usually tell difference between brands of technology apart from phones and computers. Buy I stay we'll clear from bush, cheaply made and always have technical flaws. Sorry but cold from me

nice bush

Massive bush.

Ladies and Gentleman, this is a 40" Smart TV for under £250 , carp all you like about Bush being a crap brand but this is a bargain, the failure rate will probably be higher than premium brands, sound on all flat screen tv's is poor because the speakers are tiny to fit into the thin case but it's from Argos so if you don't' like it when you get it home or it blows up within the warranty you can change it.

As the cheapest I can find is 339.00 it's hardly comparable on price is it? Unless you're actually going to post the link instead of just posting fairy tales?
