One thing of note if your using the game's console's, you need to be sure the 4K TV has all the HDR10 functions to get the full use out of them. I bought a 50" 4K HDR10/HDR10+ from Asda last year, was all good for 3 months till the Xbox x updated to Dolby Vision HDR, but was unsupported by the TV. And this is a something that is trying to make image look better, "Dolby Vision is aiming to make HDR (high dynamic range) technology better. We delve behind the HDR imaging tech to see if your next TV or smartphone ought to have Dolby Vision", that was taken from trustedreviews. So does your next TV upgrade support all these and future updates.

Most people don't own a 4k Blu-ray player which costs around £150 then each film £25 so it's fair to say even with that the quality of this TV you won't notice a difference. Plus lacking features found on most TVs. Avoid at all costs!

A few things to note:
Netflix broadcasts in 4K if you buy the package
PS4 Pro and Xbox One S/X both display 4K games.
Xbox also plays 4k discs.
I shared a standalone 4k player for 99.99.
PS4, XBox and Netflix broadcast in HDR for some material.
You cant presume a 1080p TV of equivalent value has superior picture.

Absolutely, it has Netflix and Amazon built in.
There's a thread here to get Netflix 4K for approx £5 a month.
Amazon offer student prime for free for 6 months and for £39 a year after that.
Theres a Hisense 43 inch in currys for 249.
And a Hitachi 50 inch in argos for 249.
Or a 50 inch hisense for 299 in argos/currys.
But it all depends on the size of the bedroom.
Let me know if I can be of any more help.

To be fair this is the cheapest I have seen for a 4K bedroom TV, if I didn't have the one in bedroom I bought from Panasonic I would probably grab this
Don't understand just one USB on a TV today. I need three, even my TV that is nearly five years old has that.

It depends on your expectations. It wont rival Sony or other top tier brands, but it will give you a decent picture and okish sound. Is it for yourself, for kids? What'll you be playing on it?
Decided to go for it, delivering today. Thanks
Cheers for posting. I’ve taken the plunge - it’s for my eldest”s bedroom. It’ll do the job nicely enough.

And if Black Friday turns up some serious alternatives I can always change my mind.

Horses for courses, I don't use any of the USB's spread over 3 smart TV's in my house, as a matter of interest what do you use 3 for, maybe I'm missing a treat
Voted hot, I am not a fan of this 'brand' but the price is really good for a 4k TV.
I have a 49 inch bush it's fine for tv maybe not the best for sports but main tv is a Panasonic v20 50 inch

I'm in the same boat, need a TV for my son's bedroom, do I pay £200 for this or an extra £130 for a Samsung, not sure if the better picture (if indeed it it) will justify the extra cost.

I'd think about the Hisense TV's. Much better quality than Bush. Found this brand (Bush) to be scrapping the barrel to be honest.
Who actually makes these? Are the smart functions any good?

After being burned by "Toshiba" TVs that were not made by Toshiba and which had terrible software (it crashed every time I connected it to WiFi!) I'd rather get an LG or Samsung model from a year or two ago for the same price.
Oh God a Bush TV deal. Incoming TV snobs in 3.2.1. Oh look they're already here.

Not sure if better but I got £229 43 inch richer sounds 6yr warranty...gson said it's fab.

I have small lamp that runs via USB which I plug into a USB in the TV as I don't have too many sockets in the lounge, plus it's perfect for the job next to it. Then I have a USB I use as a DVR that I keep permanently in there, and a USB that I put stuff on and plug in to play content from my PC regularly while I might be recording.
Is this TV any good for gaming? And how is the smart TV function, is it slow or?
come down 40 pounds on Black Friday and ill bite haha.
OP - Do you know a Bruce? (I think he lived on a range.)
I like bush, always have.

I wonder if this is a Flavour of Android ?
Worth getting if so - Otherwise App support would be obsolete within a year
Iv ordered it and paid so will hold off collecting till Friday just in case it does drop in price! Argos card 16.66 a month can't complain at that for my bedroom tv

I work in British broadcast and am pioneering the 8k Olympics next year so picture quality is something I am mastered in yes. Granted our monitors are 32k each in the office
