About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Spotted this deal on the Argos website. This is the cheapest QLED tv I have found online. Not sure what it is like as I have not bought one. Maybe someone who has got one can let us know if it is any good.
Only 1 review so far on the Argos site but they have given it 5 stars.

Didnt know Bush was still going? What ever happened to Tekinka. The Tesco one with Samsung panels? Or what about Alba or Awia?

Bush and Alba (And Hitachi) are all own brands of Argos. They just sign a manufacuring deal for the lowest bidder to produce TVs for them and slap their brand name on the box.

Same goes with Technika at Tesco, Polaroid at Asda, Techwood at AO and Morrisons etc.

Some models will be made by UMC (The people that manufacture Sharp TVs)

But this particular model in question today is made by Vestel - A Turkish company that also make TVs for Panasonic, Toshiba, JVC and brands like you see in the shops as named above.

Same TV as the Toshiba QA5D but with a Bush logo. Running the Vestel Smart TV OS (Based on Vewd) rather than Android TV. No other significant difference to report. Identical hardware.

Technika and Blaupunkt are brands owned by UMC, Tesco used to sell the former and Sainsbury the latter but they were basically the same in later models (remotes were interchangeable) and good quality, albeit slightly older software and panels compared to the latest specs of the day. Technika still turn up in some High Street stores, not sure if they are older models or upgraded. They were built up in Poland, possibly our EU exit made it not worth the hassle for the supermarkets to import them as margins were not huge at the prices they sold for or the big players got annoyed with them and stopped supplying panels at a competitive price. If you look at alibaba, the ex-factory price of buying 40 inch TV's is mind-bendingly low compared to what they sell for in the UK, albeit buying a container full and paying shipping and taxes on top. No reason to buy low quality stuff from Turkey.

I don't believe all stuff from Turkey are low quality. Costco would not be offering 3 month returns and 5y warranties on the new Vestel models (both 'Panasonic' and 'Toshiba' lines such as the UK4D models now available up to 65") if they were of such poor quality. Costco buyers aren't exactly the easiest to convert. The 65UK4D and 5D 'Toshiba' models have excellent picture quality for the price point, having seen them in showrooms next to LG's and Samsung's costing £100's more. Certainly Vestel had a reputation for questionable quality in the past but even the technical press comments on their new lines are very favorable.
My fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are all Beko and have worked flawlessly over the past 4 years, having switched from Zanussi, Hoover and Samsung after regular repairs and untold misery within the first few years. Some Beko white goods are now 'Which' best buys.

Have this sound is good picture is not bad I had to turn sharp settings to 100% to get a clear picture, it’s  ok for the price

Buy Bush buy twice. Tv will stop working just after warranty expires.

Well Costco offer the same Vestel TV lines (UK4D and UK5D models) in Toshiba guise with a 5 y warranty, the consensus is that there's a step up in reliability and picture quality with these newer Vestels.
At this price, I'd say it's worth a punt even without a 5y guarantee.

Don't know much about TV but seems good deal on the face of it especially for a qled!

QLED is just the latest branding change for LCD, it's meaningless in terms of performance.
