Good price if you like a big old bush!

these things just get cheaper and cheaper, I did a comparison test in Currys and ASDA on budget Vs branded TVs and to be honest I cannot see that much difference in picture.
Now I dont game, and maybe that is a major downer on cheapo TVs but for a small family, watching TV and moviews in the lounge, these things are crazy value.

The sound is rubbish on these and no ARC and not optical out means this is a rubbish deal imo! Took ours straight back.

I like watching a bush

Oh no, I don't like sticky fingers on my bush - its great for viewing although occasionally I have to fiddle with it to get the best out of it.

But voted hot as this is a big bush for little money

Two in the hand, is so much better than just watching one on its own.

All cheapo tv made by the same company and then re-badged. Tesco was selling this (E Motion badged) at the same price ~2-3 weeks ago with 5yr warranty.

I agree it's amazing how in the last two years prices have kept falling this appears to be great value for a branded 50" 1080p TV.
Also I agree that similar TVs look similar unless they are badly adjusted. The more two TVs are adjusted to look correct the more they look the same. Here's a link to a guide to do it for free:
lifehacker.com/585…ess
Anybody that can't be bothered then select the most natural picture mode usually 'movie' or 'cinema' and adjust the backlight.
Weirdly the longer you've been viewing an incorrect picture the worse the correct settings will look initially! Brains don't like change!

if you cared about sound and things like ARC you'd be using the optical out on the source e.g. Blue ray or sky box into a decent amp.

50hz so not so great for gaming but still a decent TV.

£349 now :o(
