They have certainly trimmed the price.

so many bush deals I can't see the forest for the trees!

Hot from me, cheapest 50 inch led I have seen, I'm certainly tempted but I have just recently purchased a blaupunkt 42 inch 3d TV from sainsbury @£279....

Anyone know if this has a HD tuner??

I doubt it

Now who doesn't like a bit of bush?

Bush or Argos?

Any reviews on this or know model number?

Seems a fantastic deal for the price, does anybody have this tv, can't find reviews on it, or even a bush led, seems hot for the price!

Bought this today. Upgraded from a sony 40' lcd. Good picture quality and sound. Can notice the extra 10 inch difference. The bezel is thin so makes the tv look sleek. 50hz not an issue. Action movies (iron man 3 among one of them) & ps3 games play fine. Can't notice any 'lag' as people say about 50hz. Energy efficient at 65w. Has 3 hdmi & usb slot to play your media (haven't tried this yet). Also not very heavy. Glass stand at the bottom seems sturdy.

Bush tv's seem to have good reviews on Argos. Well worth the price. I would highly recommend before the price goes back up.

Hi mate,

What's the model number ?you've found any reviews good reviews or you just bought it like that? cheers

Model number on the box is 50/211f. Just done a quick google search and not much on there apart from a user manual.

Couldn't find any reviews online for it but based the purchase on other bush tvs generally getting good reviews on argos.

Ah fair enough, thanks for the deets. I just realised Bush only really sell to Argos and so reviews will only be there (there are non now)

How does this compare to other LED's or even that Tesco Panasonic Plasma posted on here?

This tv is new so there are no reviews for it. Been checking argos lately for tv deals and it has only been added recently.

To be honest can't compare to the panasonic deal as i never saw it. Have a samsung led tv and although this isn't as sharp or vibrant (it was never going to be) the picture quality is close.

The question really is quality vs screen size for the price.

Got one today and i'm really happy with it.It's my first "big screen tv" it will take a while to get used to it as is very very big.
Only down side is that it has no HD FREEVIEW only SD. Previously had a tv with separate HD Freeview and compared to that one on this tv doesn't look as good the image quality but is good enough for me.(nothing to do with the tv SD FREEVIEW is the problem)
Also the previous HD Freeview box had it connected to a small room antenna with separate signal booster but with this tv the onboard freeview coldn't find all the programs as i had with the tv with separate freeview.

So in one word is a good tv and forgot to mention got it for £249(had some nectar points about 1 bilion:))).

Will probably buy extended warranty as in those 20 minutes in argos shop someone brought back one of this and don't want to take the risk. .......

Please can you advise on the thickness of the tv?

About 6cm at its thickest point ( which is the bottom)

Hi guys

All day yesterday i've been watching movies on this tv.I don't regret at all that i got it.It is very good from my poin of view.

The screen is about 2.5 cm thick around the edges (6cm bottom but only where the leg is which is normal).
The bezel is about 1.5 cm which is very thin if you ask me.

Will add some pictures later on but not sure how (if any of you wants any).

I bought one last night. For this price it is excellent. Is any one using it for gaming?
I have noticed that ps3 xmb doesn't look very sharp especially the text as compared to my previous 32in Toshiba. Maybe because it is still 1080p but the bigger the screen gets sharpness decreases too
Did anyone go for the extended 4 years cover which bush tries to sell you when registering the warranty. It is £154

anyone know what file type this will play via usb?

Says on the specification it uses a 400mm x 400mm bracket.

I got one of these today, the screws from the base wouldn't screw into back of tv, sending it back. Tripe

Argos own bush

try harder will go in i had the same feeling but it will go in

I tried lol, there's no thread in the holes on back of tv. There is one hole that is a dummy hole and a screw will go in that replacement coming tuesday.

Well almost everyone seemed to be happy with these sets, so having studied the above pictures, I took the plunge and purchased one.
I haven't tried the freeserve functions as I use a free to air satellite receiver for TV reception, and a Samsung blue ray player for catch up TV and related web content. But everything is working really well, easy installation and wall mounting. Looks great.
l'm really pleased with it.
It was interesting that the unit isn't in the catalogues in store, nor does it appear to be listed in the promotion brochures.
just got to wait a couple of days for a sound bar, thought it was worth a try for 39.99.
