Cassettes and 8 track, oh no I remember my dad had a 8 track with "sitting on the dock of the bay" on it
trying to find a review for this but struggling. does anyone know if it's better than the Crossley ones??
Brilliant I saw one in urban outfitters and my daughter (10) had no idea what it was
vinyl sales are rocketing and cd sales are plummeting.nice find !
I think I'll stick to my clip zip with bluetooth transmitter and speaker.
Cheers OP. My son wants one of these for his birthday next week and I had no idea where to start looking. Hot from me.
I am still buying brand new vinyl but I guess I had better get one if these to play it on!
How many gigs on RAM/ROM does it have? What's the processor speed? Does it have a camera?!?!?
any USB?

I'd check he actually wants a bush record player...

You're buying vinyl without anything to play them on? Strange.

Built-in speaker with stereo output which provide better sound.

Er....if it's a single speaker (not speakers) then it's not stereo it's mono.
Presumably looking at the picture, it's a typo in the description, it will help though you wont get much of the benefits of stereo in such an encased unit.

Less strange nowadays - you generally get a download link alongside the record purchase, and, the record acts more as artwork. Personally, I think there is something very attractive about a big old shelving unit stuffed with records And in my "drinks" cabinet, I have three framed original records looking down on me. I daren't actually play them!

This.

Although there are a few red styluses that are OK (the old Bush MTT1 used a Sanyo cartridge which used similar-looking stylii to these, and they were OK, nothing special but OK), almost all the new ones are ceramic. Such carts need a very heavy tracking weight on the record and wear them out in short order, unfortunately.
Should we even be encouraging the Chinese to pollute the planet producing this junk which will be filling our landfill sites in under a year?

Just my humble opinion, of course

It's the line-out that is stereo.

Don't put it past the hipsters, I'm just waiting for comments; 'The data just stores so much more organically, MANNNNNNN!!'
Argos Q&As state:

Hi there,

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.

After looking into this for you, I can confirm that the output power for the turntable is 2.5W x 2 = 5W rms.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the heads up....Purchased one yesterday and i'm impressed with the sound quality. Build quality is questionable but it does what it needs to in a compact case!

All i did was undo the 4 screws and lift out the whole assembly being careful of the wires...underneath were 2 screws that hadn't been fully tightened. Once i had screwed them in fully it all sat all ok.
......Now £39.99!!.....
