More bargain bush....hot from me....especially as its movember
This should go mega hot, not been this price for a long time.
Slight minor is its scart only but then its not a HD box and most LCDs still have scart sockets
No Humax but not bad for the kids bedroom etc....
apparently you can get a 500gb version but i can't find it .. bought one for my sister's christmas present anyway. she's got a bog standard single tuner version, but she uses it all the time so this will be an upgrade, and moreso if i can blag a 500gb version

The refurb 500gb models can be found on the bay listed by other sellers from similar £40 price, although all are 90day warranty rather than the Argos 12m warranty for the OP item.

Fair enough. It's a bit misleading to state that in the advert for the 320gb version though if Argos themselves aren't offering the 500gb one. No mind though, still bought one.
Voted hot cause it's super-cheap, but don't be surprised when it starts missing recordings. I suppose you could try to download whatever it misses.
Thanks... a good crimbo present for my ludite parents.

that seems to be a "feature" for most freeview+ boxes at this level. my sister's box (which I think is also a bush) misses recordings as well.
I have one of these. Neat little box, quiet in operation and not let me down yet ( had it for 3 months now).

I think a lot of these are returned to Argos with nothing wrong with them - either because the buyer expects it to work from a rubbish aerial, or can't work it properly (it's simple enough). Anyway this is a great buy at this price.
had to send two of these back within 12 months and my aerial is fine. for a little more the sharp tutv version much better that had same operating system. if humax-type expenditure is not an option then the best bet is Philips/pace hdt8520 WITH NEWEST FIRMWARE. Underrated little box.

you tend to get what you pay for with these.
Gr8 price, but saying ended on website.

Would that be the hdt8520 that can be secured for a snip at £999 ?
Doubt this seller will shift maany at that price !

Great spot, thank you. Ordered Saturday, arrived Monday, set up immediately (and I have never had one of these before), recorded and watched first programme and so far everything is fine. Does what we want for a very acceptable price.
