just black?
not even black n white gonna be hard to make out the picture

Har har! Anyone able to offer a review of this TV? Quite tempted but can't find out much about it (yet)

This available instore?

Good price for a 19inch w Freeview.

Not available in store. I check in Milton Keynes store. internet deal only

why do i need HD for 19 inch telly?

JUST what I've been looking for, thanks!

ASDA Quidco too but might be denied when combined with the 10% off deal? Worth a try anyway, they can only deny it.

I'm willing to take a gamble on picture quality as it's just for the bedroom. There's always ebay if it's really bad :whistling:

Heat and rep

EDIT: Voucher code doesn't work :-(

i placed an order for this tv which was advertised as having a built in dvd player. Asda deducted the money out of my account only to then phone me up to tell me they were reimbursing my switch card as they had misspriced the tv.

this is an online offer only, tv in store is a different brand for £189.00

for delivery you can pick the day you want, delivery could be anytime that day.

Just noticed that this is the one I saw in the Makro catalogue that's £129.99 exc VAT. Further evidence of a good deal

The only thing holding me back is TVs on Ebuyer. Sure ]their 19" screens start at £150 (free delivery) there but the user reviews are invaluable.

Yeah couldnt agree more, RE - the customer feedback, I paid £160 for a 19 Inch from Ebuyer last week. Was a little bit gutted when I saw this deal today though!
Great Deal

Mines coming tomorrow, I will leave a short review tomorrow night!

Look forward to it

i always wanted a HD LCD TV for my PC...but wots the quality like with this one? or should I splash out 60pounds more and buy a samsung one where the quality is guaranteed?

Ordered for my Mum,do they call to arrange delivery?
Thanks OP

To those that ordered, can you specify a different delivery address from your credit card address? I'd want to delivered to my work as, as is the case with many homes, the people in my house work 9-5!

oh this sounds good - we need a new tv for the living room Thanks for this!

For the living room? Are you a Borrower!?

That's what I was thinking

You can get 32" sets for just £300 these days.

Maybe they don't watch much TV and don't want something that will dominate the living room, though?

Yeah maybe your right, 19" doesnt give you much to look at in a living room though! Each to their own I guess! Would have saved me a fortune buying a TV this size instead of mine!!

does any one know what resolution the screen has and if it has any other connections as cant find any reviews on this.

Spellstef - Funnily enough, I couldn't imagine having a 19" TV in the living room either, but my mum actually used to have a 19" TV in her living room, and she was very happy with it.

Not quite, although we are pretty short, me at 5`1" and hubby at 5`4"! We don't watch TV much and have an old set in the living room thats on its last legs - it was a Freecycle replacement for ours that died. We are looking to go much smaller though, as we spend more time doing other things than watching TV - when our son leaves home we may even get rid of it completely, although I do like a good film now and then...;-)

Yeah - I had a 21" and thought that was fine, until I bought my new TV this year. Now the 21" is in the bedroom and it looks too small even for in there now, as I am so used to the one downstairs!

What a difficult life I lead!! :-)

beadysamuk - fair play! I would crazy without Skysports news and Sunday afternoon football and Scrubs and Everybody Hates Chris and Road Wars.....My God, I need to get a life!!

HELP ME!

Could just be what I'm looking for.
Hot deal.
Will check out reviews over next couple of days. But I'm not expecting amazing picture quality, its only for the bedroom.
Previous reviews I seen for Bush lcds have rating 3 out of 5.

yes you can arange delivery to a different address.

Nice cheaper then the rest of the market!

Eagerly awaiting my TV C'mon asda delivery people!

Thanks

I know some places won't let you do it on your first order while some won't let you do it at all!

Heres my VERY short review, I will edit it when I get my 360 sound working on it!

Straight out of the box, it was very light, didnt feel very sturdy, but I can live with that!

Plugged it all in, got it all goin and straight away prompts for analog and digital tv setup, I cannot comment as I skipped this as my ariel is ****!

Anyway, got my 360 on, set it to 1080p (Ohh yes, 1080p!) and viola! PERFECT picture, started playing GTA (With no sound though, as I havent got the right lead/adapter) but the picture was crystal clear, I tried a DVD and that was also mint.

It has a VGA input too for you PC buffs! HDMI, Component, Scart, Ariel too

Very nice looking TV, nice remote control

I will get pics/videos up tomorrow!

Thanks sicpuppy

Look forward to hearing more when you have time.

Aww, ****. Expired. I should have just taken the gamble and got it at that price. Oh well, looks like it'll be weeks of waiting again until I spot a similarly good deal!

Strangest thing...

ASDA sent me a sort of reminder email something along the lines of "we noticed you added these items to your basket but didn't proceed with the order. Click here to continue with the order". Hmm, I thought. If I click through I bet you it's the new price. However, when I got to my shopping cart it was the old price so I completed the order.

About an hour later I get this email

This e-mail is to let you know that we are still processing your order … This e-mail is to let you know that we are still processing your order for:1 x BUSH IDLCD19W018HD 19" HD Ready Digital BLACK @ 129.99on 09:50 on 08 Jul 2008 and we will keep you updated.Unfortunately, we have not yet received your goods from the suppliers.Thank you for your patience and we will be in contact with you again as soonas we know more.

I've done the exact same thing! but they are still selling the product on the website.. so there is a chance we get it for that price right?

Hopefully!

I was thinking that might just be a lame excuse before they eventually cancel the order :whistling:

I did of course mean to say ASDA and not Argos there!

I also forgot this probably means no Quidco like if I'd got it ordered the other day. Oh well.

Just to comment on the sound and the freeview side, freeview very easy automated setup - mint, and the sound is also great, even at high volume

Just what I wanted to hear!

This will be replacing a 14" CRT in the room with a dodgy speaker. I've had to hook up a pair of PC speakers to my DVD player to get sound, which means I can't adjust the volume without getting up to do it! It's very good sound through the speakers but I was looking forward to getting rid of them as they take up a bit of room and make it look untidy.

It's really annoying me with what's going to happen with our orders. shall we email them to enquire about stock as there is stock according to their website?

I think I'm just gona leave it. If it comes through then great, if not then I was just too slow. I don't really want to flag it in case the manually cancel it if it's been all automates so far.

As far as I've seen many websites don't show accurate stock levels!
