wanna bush it! bush it hard~ oh yeah

I have one, it's not bad for the price. The screen isn't amazing but it's not bad

bargain, just bought today, very happy

Has anyone get one of these?
If so, is it any good?

oos

Oos within 25 miles of me, gutted

Bought last week at £70. Oh well, win some lose some. Nice enough tablet. Build quality is ok and fairly quick. Screen is hard to see though unless looking at the right angle.

I got my children these when I realised the Toshiba tablet was no good for them. Paid £69.99 each. Liked theirs so much I got myself one today for £59.99. I am impressed with it besides the screen resolution. But then you have to take into account I have the Samsung Note 3 so there is a difference. I mainly wanted the tablet to do my open uni on and the screen size is just perfect for it. Worth getting if you can grab one in stock! Or just get it for home delivery!

i got my 2 sons one before xmas in the sale paid £49,99 and worth every penny

dont touch these, the screen is awful. last years tesco hudl is far better. its cheap for a reason. total crap.

Hot but out of stock for me :-(

My 16 year old boy would love to get his hands on a Bush.

Was it just me that read that title a slightly twisted way? oO

This is last years first effort from argos that crashed and burned following underwhelming reviews. OK for £59 i suppose but fared badly (when sold at the higher price) compared against the superior hudl 1. The latest Argos tablet has a bigger screen and comes with full windows 8.1 plus free software is a much more competitive proposition.

1024x600 screen resolution is what really lets it down - that's not even good enough for a 7" display nowadays, never mind an 8" one. People don't realise how important the screen is on a tablet until they see one with a much higher res (or better screen tech).

I used to think my Nexus 7 2012's was the bee's knees at 1280x800 (and it was in mid-2012). When I got an LG G Pad 8.3 a lot later (1920x1200) the difference was huge when looking at them side by side - the LG was much sharper/clearer.

Is this the Bush administrations crack at the tablet market....i know poor joke.

I wouldn't recommend it. The problem with these is that they use a really low-res TFT screen, which makes everything look oversize and fuzzy, and which has such a poor viewing angle that there's no position or distance you can use it from that looks consistent, or in any way good.

Awful spec and screen

Poor even at £30 let alone £60

Nexus 7 2013 can be had for £99 at staples I've just read on here somewhere. So cold as although nexus 2013 is almost two years old, it's still the best available around the £100 to £170 mark.

Pay a little more for something that will work better and last longer. Not as if there is a lack of choice with Android. Cold.

dont listen to the screen snobs, i bought one for my lad a few wks back and of course its no ipad etc but at this money its well worth it, video looks great and it handles it well

at 60 quid its a gd buy

I like the Argos reviews, all the good ones contain 'i bought it for my...'proud mums, dads, uncles asking for a feedback just after unboxing. Same situation with the crappy bikes. No, the kids are just being nice to you, don't want to upset you. If they are that good, buy one for yourself and hold for a while prior reviewing.

You voted cold because another tablet is £40 more? This is what is wrong with HUKD.

1024x600 ruins the fun on any tablet. Even the Cobalt 80 had a better resolution.

No it's not. You can either spend £60 on this garbage or a bit more on the last word in 7" android tablets.

Shocking that you can get something better for more money! This tablet is for people who are happy to pay this amount for this tablet.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, but the nexus is much better for not that much more money. £100 is still budget tablet price for a premium device.

You need to understand that £40 is an awful lot of money to some people and they simply can't afford more, so they get the best they can afford within their budget - just like you would within yours. Others just don't need hi res so why pay extra for it?

This above is a sensible reply, No bias whatsoever.
For the price this is a great kids/starter tablet, simple as that.

A tablet is a luxury, better not to buy it in that case.

Most things in life (entertainment wise) are luxuries and people buy products that reflect their budget (in most cases).
Most people would love a top of the range car, tv or tablet but it just isn't realistic so they buy items tailored to their budget.

These cheap tablets are horrible

So, do you have a suitable alternative in mind, at a reasonable price?

But an extremely poor quality screen in every other respect, including touch responsiveness (although worth it for £49 at the time).

Hudle 1?
CEX sell for £68.00 so may be a good alternative

6" kindle fire?
