Personally I would never buy a Bush washing machine although its a very good price! Voted Hot

I had no idea Bush made washing machines. Their sphere of junk is obviously increasing.

Better spend half that amount on a ten year old decent machine than this "Throwaway" CR*P ....Argos used to sel HAIER washing machines BUT stopped very quickly.........I don't think this will last much longer!

AND.....we are being given smaller wheelie bins now, my guess is that this won't fit in the new one's!

have a look at the photo on the product page-top left hand corner of machine...what is the name? oO

edit: was joking at first, but it actually concerns me now! did a google and you get the same pic for the white version on the homebase site (same group as argos)

I completely disagree with the above posts condemning this washing machine as a pile of junk.

the fact is that in the 'global' age that we live in now, the innards of many machines is essentially the same, you just pay for the brand name. Clearly the brand name Bush isn't worth much, hence the price, but at this price, you can buy it, use it for as long as it lasts and then throw it away and buy a new one. You could also take out an extended warranty and least be guaranteed to get 5 years out of it.

Good post, heat added.

If you have no idea, stay neutral

Bush washing machine? As in a machine for washing bushes?

Whatever will they think of next.

Hey, total respect to your point - i was just pointing out the name badge as, clearly, you should be getting a bush when two different pictures say something else. hopefully, the pic is no more than a point of, um, reference.

If you buy a 10 year old used machine, top name or not, you're asking for trouble, my guess is that this would end up in the skips long before the Bush machine. Classic case of elitest namebashing.
Having said that, you more or less get what you pay for, so if you get 5 years out of this one you've done well.

They may have an exclusive contract with Argos but they are owned by Beko actually

I personally wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, spend £50 more and get a good machine

No he's right, they are owned by the owners of Argos.

Well, I bought this washing machine in May and it does the trick as in it washes clothes, lots of good features on it ie quick wash and I am pleased with it and as for lasting, what machine lasts these days. I bought it with the intention of replacing it when it breaks not repairing.
