This is amazing prices for business class flights to Australia, especially with BA/Cathay Pacific.

The flights are from Oslo to Sydney. I know people are going to moan, but for £50 return including luggage you can get a return flight to Oslo, even less if you have Avios. This will be a budget airline but hey, if you are going to be flying business class I'm sure you can stick it in Ryanair for a couple of hours! Compare this to the cheapest business class flight from UK in a similar period and you're looking at £2k with Vietnam Airlines (which does not compare to BA or Cathay Pacific)!!

Flights routing is Oslo>London>HK>Sydney (you cannot avoid going back to London)

On the return journey it is Sydney>Hong Kong>London>Oslo

For a little more you can have stopovers in Hong Kong.

On the return journey it may be possible to exit at London, either by adding in a long stopover or taking a chance that with say a 4 hour stop over if you ask for your hold luggage to be returned to you they will let you have it and you can leave. Of course you won't have this problem if you don't take hold luggage.....

Various dates in Feb and March 2016. Remember to sign up for Ebookers reward scheme as you could get £16 odd credit with them per flight.

Just checked Avios for this period and plenty of availability London to Oslo return £35 and 35000 Avios.

worth noting, if you don't take the final leg of the trip ie LON-OSL you may not get any tier points or avios credited to your exec club account good price though

Amazing price for proper business class.

Yeah that's a possible downside but even when skipping the last leg of flights I always get point credited for the flights I have taken. If it was me and just add on an Avios flight with BA as the points you are getting just for taking the London to Oslo leg make it worthwhile.
Hi
Can anybody help me re stopovers. I have entered multi cities one Booker website and price jumps up. Is there a better way of requesting a stopover so that the price does not jump £5/600?

Avios flights are a great way to connect to these ex-eu priced flights. Just make sure your connecting time is realistic as you will sometimes have to go through immigration, and always have to collect your bags and check-in again

If they're BA flights too sometimes I've had my luggage checked through to my final destination if you ask the check in staff nicely.

I'd be surprised if BA would allow you to check in luggage from LHR-OSL-LHR-HKG/SYD as they would be on 2 seperate PNR's ...not that I work for them or anything like that
Be aware that BA Business Class is not very good... hubby had a broken TV all the way from the UK to Oz in Business Class & they refused to fix it or move him yet the girl sitting beside him had one that worked fine & had been upgraded for free from Economy so had not even paid for it but got better service. You also get put in opposing pods unless you sit in the very middle so not very good for people who want to travel as a couple. On the flipside we flew Premium Economy with BA to the UK & had the best flight ever... got the front seats with all the leg room & were sandwiched between First & Business which made for a very enjoyable flight Only downside was having to pay a little extra for our extra bags as we were relocating but we pre-booked them online & it was very reasonable.
Nice one!

I think you'll be hard pushed to find anyone on here sympathising that BA business is not very good based on one of the reasons being opposing pods.

Compared to other business class offerings, BA scores quite highly. If you're expecting more 'Wolf of Wall Street', maybe you should opt for private jet.
I recently flew business Lon to Rio and found it fine. On the way out I had the centre 2 pods to myself, ideal for couples, or a bonus if traveling alone. On my I return I was in a single, however if you wished to speak with your partner it's not like your separated by a brick wall. Great price! If i was not already going to Vegas and Peru with work in March I would be considering a trip down under at these prices and if I was going, I would be booking this in a heartbeat. I would not be able to justify the extra cost just to go with Emirates or Singapore. Well spotted Rachel.
Nice find! Love these ex-EU deals! Heat from me.

Nothing wrong with BA business at all - recently done a trip to Rio and also a trip to New York in club without issue.

Heathrow - Oslo is 13-15K avios, not 35k Rachel. It's only about £26 in charges too if you book this as 2 one way journeys rather than a return. If you haven't got the avios, I'd suggest BA/SAS/Norwegian to Gardermoen rather than messing around with Ryanair - quite time consuming and expensive to get from from Rygge or Torp up to Gardermoen.
Oh I just plugged a return flight into my exec club and that's the details it gave me. Is a return flight so is more miles but less £.

If you have/are exchanging Tesco for Avios I believe there is a bonus on at the moment too.

I did get my luggage checked in once when I had a long haul booking from Spain and had used Avios to get from Manchester to Spain (via London). It was not Australia though, perhaps I was lucky!

I'm tempted to book this myself but I have no leave and other trips planned....
Not finding these at this price at all, can anyone help me out?

Getting these at £983.82 pp in Economy and Business class is £2603.62 pp (with the stopover in HKG)

Is it only certain legs of the journey in business class?

Thanks

Also whilst on the subject of business travel. Priced up a trip from Manchester/London to Vietnam return, late April - May for £1700 with emeriates (a380/b777-300er). Economy was around £440-460. Ebookers/flight scanner /opodo all similar prices.
seems to have expired. can find them at this price :-(
Yet another stupid Airline 'deal' where you have to get yourself to another country to take advantage of it. This site is called HotUKDeals, note the UK bit. This is NOT a UK deal.
Check out the flight times - 07.25 out of Oslo and nearly 32hrs flight time back to Oslo and to suggest that one could live out of cabin luggage for 3 weeks in the Australian heat beggars belief.
I note, rachelandgromit, that you class yourself as the HUKD TRAVEL EXPERT, are you for real?
I would worry about anyone who would even consider this fare.

You don't have to book it!! If you want to go direct from UK rather than Oslo then pay a few more hundred £. Even if you wanted a city break in Oslo you'll still save a few hundred pounds. There are different variations of this deal some with longer or shorter stops and flights with different departure times, some that don't go via London that go via Doha etc. I know lots of people that have backpacked round Oz that took very little luggage and bought what they wanted out there....

You will notice that I commented in my listing that for £50 you could easily get a return flight to Oslo with cheap airlines or even better with Avios. If you'd read the comments on here you would know that there are cheaper options too with some very helpful comments from people in the Hukd community. There are frequently posts on here from non UK merchants such as banggood etc. Perhaps you could help other people and post some deals too and contribute to making Hukd a better place with more appropriate deals?

Are you serious? My Husband's experience with BA Business was awful... your comment is just plain rude & uncalled for.

You are rude and seem to not understand English. They were stating that premium economy was better than business class due to lack of BA service and opposite seating positioning. A valid point.

Everyone knows this is true who fly both regularly. You obviously do not fly.

"Get on your private jet" You wish you were Leonardo DiCaprio but you come on here to degrade someones statement due to a lack of comprehension. Loser.

Calm down HUKDers! Let's just say that do your research on the different classes in BA and seating plans and try to get the seats you want before booking or just book premium economy instead....

Everyone has different opinions of Airlines and which are better than others. Seat guru and others provide some insight into people's experiences and you can then make your own decision.

They both have fors and against. It's a good deal and seating or service/ value for money all depends on what you value from your flight. I just dislike people jumping at someone sharing an experience. Especially a lady.

I don't suppose you have connections with ebookers!
Let me educate you as you don't seem to know despite being the [HUKD TRAVEL EXPERT]!!
People who normally fly Business Class do not queue up with the peasants the day before their main flight to take a budget airline flight to another country, to book into a hotel or doss in the airport terminal so that they can catch a 07.45 flight, so you might find yourself a bit out of your league. And it would be doubtful if the airline would even check you in as a 'backpacker' but may offer to check your baggage into the hold, should you look respectable enough for Business Class, or offer you a seat in Economy (which in any event would have been at half the price you quote above and a direct flight from the UK), and then you'd have to say good bye to using the Business Class Lounge - lol.
I take it that you've never been to Australia, as if you had, you'd know that it's one of the most expensive countries in the world to visit and doesn't have a Primark!
Of course there are posts on this site for foreign suppliers but I don't have to go to another country to pick up my order!
Your posting is NOT a UK deal so perhaps you would consider this the next time you decide to post something with a 'headline grabbing' title whilst leaving the detail in the 'small print'.
I wasn't aware that it's a requirement that I must post something on this site to take advantage of the deals that others have found and kindly shared with us and if you can't take criticism perhaps you should consider whether you should continue to do so.

Actually I've been to Oz 5 times including NYE and flown business class on at least 7 occasions long haul (although alot of my business class travel is free through airline points, ff points and mileage runs) and used numerous airport lounges across the world and I'm off to Antarctica at Christmas.

And no I am not affiliated with Ebookers or any other travel firm. I just post travel deals.....

And if you check the original post you will see that I did not leave any details off, I was perfectly transparent that the deal was from Oslo.

Well bully for you, just a whole five times to Oz, then you'll know that what I've written about Australia to be true. I queried about your connection to ebookers as I wouldn't have loaded Oslo as my departure point if I'd been looking for a flight, and I'd suggest nobody else would either.
Anyway I consider your post not to be relevant to the purpose of this site although others might disagree with me.

Who are you to decide that? Very strange few posts you have made.

The fact is that it's a great price for what's on offer. Using half a brain cell, one could consider adding a short stay in Oslo as part of the 'holiday experience'. I have done this many a time. Not necessarily to save money, but I tend to always look for flights from Euro destinations for long haul. With the added attraction that if I can add in a decent European stop into the price and it works out around the same price as a UK>wherever flight, then to me that's a very big positive.

What I have contributed to this community is to try and dismiss the stupidity of a lot of the postings, and the posters. I'm sorry mod but I never started this. I will not accept being insulted or abused in any form by anyone. As far as I'm concerned this is a forum to express ones opinion and I'm entitled to voice my reasonable remarks. Just because someone posts something here doesn't mean that it's set in stone. My remarks might not be acceptable to some of your readers but that's what a forum like this is all about. Whilst it would be a loss to be able to take advantage of the deals that others have found, and one can take advantage of, I can however live without the input.
