Business Class from London to Jamaica return for £998 - Error price

Found 5th Jan 2013
This has been taken from another site, not any use for me so i thought i would share the deal...

Cheapest dates are August, September, October and November - but you have some really good deals every month.

This is an error fare as its on offer at £708 for economy so as business is normally triple the price, this is a very good deal (well i think it is).

The seats will not last long at this price (until BA find out the mistake)

Sadly i see this a lot... - The next flights not using BA or a BA codeshare are coming up at over £2k i don't know why it's so cold, I don't fly business but i think its a good price if i had the money to fly business
No use to me, but thats a fantastic price, especially if u were planning to go economy anyway. Hot...like Jamaica!

If I went I don't think I'd want to come back.
what's the difference between economy and business class?

whatever it is i doubt it warrants the extortionate price gap

economy : thrifty and efficient use of material resources : frugality in expenditures

i.e. cheap and painful; treated like animals

business: How people should be treated; complimentary food/drink services; bigger seats

Dates through Hurricane season.

Think i'll pass thanks.

A flat bed. Extra luggage and food you might want to eat.

Good value for the price difference in this deal.

Get the violins out...
It's worth it considering the difference in price - making this deal HOT!

A similar thing happened with pricing about two years ago. Flights to Thailand, business class were mistakenly priced less than economy. It lasted for about 2-3 hours. But they honoured the deal. It's not quite first class... but a huge difference for long haul flights. Got some decent sleep and wasn't stressful as economy usually is.

Worth checking if there is more baggage allowance with business class as well. I had 10kg extra compared to economy to Thailand but to India there wasn't a difference.
Cracking deal - same price as premium economy
Is Sandals for the older generations? I've been looking at holidays to Jamaica but to Montego Bay, not Kingston

BA business long haul is 3 x 23Kg bags per person

Ony real difference between business and first is you get a better airport lounge and get to specify at what time you eat in first. Plus a real duvet for sleeping and PJ's to sleep in first. Both have completely flat beds.
Great price. Almost like getting a free theme-park pass when you fly through a hurricane too (prices available August - October.)

Heat from me. X)
I doubt many people on here can afford to spend £1000 on flights (myself included). Cold from me.

Regardless of that it is still a deal compared to standard priced flights. Perhaps you need to learn what this website is about. Let me get the violin out for you because you've probably got debt and can't afford this, perhaps you should be over on MSE.
Shame we won't be able to take advantage as it is probably Disney again this year... but that is dreaming. Keep deals like this coming because maybe one day I can take advantage!!

I went to Sandals Antigua for my honeymoon. Best holiday ever. I thought it was going to be full of old people, how wrong was i. Full of Americans on Spring Break in May. Was brilliant.
Flying around April time only another £100 more, just booked tickets and a hotel for a fortnight. Be a perfect 10 year anniversary holiday for my partner. I've been looking for a few weeks for something nice, so thanks Cundall.
Its a good price for the flights but bare in mind that its between 3-5 hrs to any of the main resort areas from the airport in a taxi costing around $200-$300 each way. Alternatively you could go in to Kingston and get a much cheaper and less reliable bus if you dare!
Thanks for sharing this! Head added!

By the way, please don't call the airline to confirm your flights. Please wait a few days.

1. No they aren't - taxes are around £200 and the actual cost of the seat is £767.

2. Though it irritates me as a frequent traveller, I think flying should be heavily taxed. Though most people are ignorant to the dangers of global warming, flying should definitely be discouraged in my view. Either way, I'd hardly call it disgusting. It's not much more than the rate of VAT.

I take it you've never been on a plane before... There is the world of difference between them.

I can. I wouldn't as I'd prefer to fly economy and to more places, but I'm sure plenty of people on here both could and would afford these flights.

Maybe you should fly with a better airline. Most long haul flights offer complimentary food/drink services in economy and treat you absolutely fine. Business class is definitely better and a great deal at this price but economy is fine for most people.
As Pauline says, this has been a promoted offer by BA on their site for a good week+. No mistake, so no need to be concerned.

It is a good price due to the time of year, but very good value for business class on BA whatever the season.
Great offer, x

So its not like commuting on south west trains?
Looks good - don't forget Quidco! 5% cashback on that kind of money is definitely worth clicking via that side for!
