I used to love going here as a child.

We went last Saturday and it was a great day out with the kids... Hot

Do you think the logo being chains, associated with the name "black country" is a tad non PC?!

I guess it is a play on the words and the black country flag. It is referring to the heritage of the area - chains were a typical product created in the area. The Black Country Museum ran a competition to design a flag for the area. Info here: en.wikipedia.org/wik…try

Yeah fair enough I'm just surpised, especially the controversy Bristol faces every time they do something with "heritage" links. I remember when they decide on the name Cabot Circus for the shopping centre and people were up in arms because of his links to slavery.

Heat added. Took my dad there about 4 years ago. Fantastic place.

There's currently a big debate going on in the local media about the chains and how the Black Country profited from the slavery trade

I do agree tbh. No issue with the "black country" moniker but having the chains on the logo just rubs your face in it really.

Great for the summer hols, thanks op

Worth it for the Fish and Chip shop alone, have some heat!

Went there last weekend, it's okay. Beamish is so much better though.

Sorry, have I missed something? How do you get this for £7.25? Is it not £15.50 for an adult ticket and then you get the annual pass?

The £7.25 is the child pass and yes it's £15.50 for an adult.

Still very good value in my opinion thou, especially with the children off school. Also works with the family passes.
