jokers... undetstand with coffee but this is silly, saves packaging but carrying round bags of milk? if you get a leak on a hot day your asking for trouble... energy saving taken too far!!

I dont think you are supposed to carry them around. They just pop in to a reusable jug. Less wasted plastic and energy as well. Its the way most of our shopping will go. Especially if we keep spilling oil in to the oceans!

Voted cold as they've stopped doing bags in NI

i dont get it... you buy them from the shop in these bags? youll have to carry them around the shop and back home, thts enuff time to pop them by mistake!

no they are made of quite strong stuff. Got the free jugs but our local Sainsburys never seems to have any of tese in stock wish they did them in skimmed milk as well.

Yep you buy them like this. When you get them home they go in to a jug which protects it and keeps it upright and allows pouring. The bags are tough. I haven't drop tested one, but plastic milk bottles burst very easily when dropped. I think you would have to try pretty hard to accidentally pearce one of these.

You need to change your title, you can buy them online

As a supervisor at Sainsbury's, i have to say these milk bags are a nightmare, the amount that we have leak on us is crazy, the bags need to be stronger! I think that if they leak, they will leak in the shop before you have a chance to get it home!

Just noticed them in Costa Coffee today.......not for sale but in use for making drinks. Would make sense for that type of use but as others have said don't fancy carrying them home.

I wish they'd make more effort eliminating boxes on stuff that isnt required like pizzas etc - I won't be buying these.

so what size are these then?

They only have 2 litre bags.
We've bought quite a few so far, and haven't had a single spillage... yet :P

I heard these bags are a common thing in Canada...so blame the Canadians for it...:-D.lol
