Yeah and some of us who have jobs still make our own sauces . Don't take that long and taste far superior. The bolognaise one you could even make in a larger quantity and freeze for when needed. No jar sauces would compare imo

Yes I agree it’s very vinegary tasting and use once ruined my lasagne
Which Home Bargains was this please? Hope its national
If you want to see something funny, show a native Italian the hugely stereotypical dolmio puppet adverts (imagine if they’d done the same for an ‘Indian’ brand?!)

If you want to see something funnier. Watch a native italian try to eat Dolmio. 👌

Heat for the oven dish and two storage jars though!
Didn't see this in my local HB. They did have a 'deal' for two jars of Dolmio for £2 though
Dolmio is best enjoyed as a drink, straight from the jar
This was in Harborne, Birmingham... definitely £1.50 and the free dish offer was advertised and collected at the checkout. Even the check out girl said what a great offer!

Likewise. We have 45mins to prepare/ cook and serve tea each evening. Often best cooking large batches and freezing half for another night.
The 'sauce' is made whilst cooking the bolognese.
A tin of chopped plum tomatoes, Italian herbs/ 5 spice, garlic and tomato puree and maybe basil.
All of that is added to the minced meat and onions. Mushrooms go in last.
Takes 10 minutes - leave to simmer for at least 20 mins (whilst spaghetti/ pasta is cooking).

I'm kinda like the naked chef, just a tad more Northern, bearded and a wee bit "cuddly"

Really is no need for this God awful chemically induced shyte
Yes. this has been available for a few days at Wishaw where you also collect Dish at the Till.
You have to improvise with the sauce of course as a base for your meal.
Dolmio was one of the few big brand pasta sauces in a jar that didn't add modified corn starch as a thickener. So was free of "chemical shyte" They have started adding it now :-( but if this is an old receipe jar it might be ok.
Of course homemade is best but almost no one has patience to make proper bechemel, mostly I just do a white sauce with cheese in.
Got one from Home Bargains (Rotherham) yesterday and it cost me £2.01

£1 each for the jars and 1p for the dish

I had to swap the jars I originally got (that were directly above the sign!) as I'd taken Dolmio Bolognese sauces rather than Lasagne Sauces that were all side by side with each other.

Still not bad as the dish looks ok......Cheers OP

Ive had one of these dishes for about a year now and it’s great, washes up a dream and big enough for a proper sized lasagne or pasta dish.
