Had an email through from Zizzi offering me the chance to buy a £50 Zizzi gift card for £40 with code XMAS2015.

Tried it and they add on £2.95 standard 1st class delivery (3-5 days) so you are saving £7.05.

Not sure if specific to me or for general use. Hope it is useful to someone

£2.95 postage on a gift card is ripping it a bit. 60p for a stamp (I think) and 10p for an envelope max. steal a pen from the bookies to write said envelope.

It's first class postage and they may send it securely. Who knows.

If you want a little less you can also pay £37 for a £40 gift card on Zeek

If you are happy with a "e-gift" then you can avoid the p&p charge.

£50 credit for £40. Just choose the phone or email option at zizzi.co.uk/gifts and select a value of £40. Once you have entered the code XMAS2015 at the appropriate stage the value increases to £50 but the cost remains at £40.

I tested this (without purchase). Unsurprisingly the code doesn't work with a value of < £40. Heated.

Be aware of this :

Do I have to spend the full value on my mobile gift all in one go?It … Do I have to spend the full value on my mobile gift all in one go?It depends on whether you provided us with your personal details. If you provide us with your details when you purchase the mobile gift, but you don’t spend the total value of the Zizzi mobile gift, an email or SMS will be automatically sent to you with a new code for the remaining balance. If you did not provide us with your details, we unfortunately won’t be able to contact you to reissue the remaining balance.

A little bit different..... if, after paying, you have a remaining balance they actually send you a new code for that remaining value.
