£4.99 for the card!? oO

Guess they've jacked the price up to make it seem like there's more of a saving to be made here.

It's a Hallmark card, that's normal price!

Wow, I had no idea. I usually get a cheapo one from Clintons or somewhere for a quid or two. M&S have some nice cheap cards too..

Looks like a good deal for those on a budget

Does it? If I was on a budget and am I wouldn't be buying a five pound card.

Nice card in card factory £1
Box of Roses £2
Bunch of Daffodils £1

Its only a deal if you think £5 for a card is a price you would normally pay, otherwise it isn't much of a deal. I don't imagine a co-op is going to have a massive choice of cards either.

Also as you're buying flowers you cannot really buy it very long in advance, maybe the day before, so if they have sold out you could be struggling on Saturday night trying to find somewhere to buy anything

I agree!
Someone on a budget.............

Card - Free from funkypigeon promo!
Daffodils - £1 (Or Neighbours garden hehe)
Chocolate - H&B normally do boxes for £2/3

thegroutch

you'd get those 3 for about £7-£8 in most other supermarkets

Except Co-op isn't a supermarket.....

they have thorntons small chocs, for £3, it was just a single layer of chocs, oh in asda, forgot to say, lol. asda, just a single layer, hmm i also got a birthday card that was £1.50 in morrisons a few days ago and that was hallmark, i think this is a good deal actually, you get flowers and chocs and i know its not many chocs, but they are going by the name, thorntons and not normal cadburys etc
