Buy a brand new Fiat and get 0% finance for three years. Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me.

He is just saying to keep you happy so you do not drive his car and kerb wheels of his car.

I driver beamer and seriously considered this for miswa. Quality was terrible and cabin noise was high on motorway speeds. So ended up buying another beamer for her.

Can anyone tell me what is so special about this car? I see so many around where I live, all women drivers. I might consider buying for the wife. Thanks

Nothing special about it. I suppose it’s just a bit funky as a city car.
I’ve driven one and can confirm it’s nothing special!! Quite small but was an ok drive. Not the quality of a polo, but similar to Vauxhall’s etc.

I give up...trying to find details of a final payment. They make it look like you own it after 35 months of £125 but that won't be the case. It's not 0 % it's a lease.

Includes 500X

It’s a 0% PCP with a final optional payment.

More so where is this deal being offered?

Get a quote from car wow its how I ordered my last two Fiats great price and the same dealer offers.

Full face crash helmet or balaclava required.

A "lease" is another think entirely. Not so good a deal then

Definitely think these are lease deals & the 0% headline is designed to mislead & entice.

Hubby has the E46 M series collection M3/Z3/Z4 coupe and roadster, and yes i have curbed the diamond cut alloys on the M3. agree there is a lot of road noise on the motorway, but i do mostly town driving and its great for that. good mpg to. and i'm barley 5ft and cant see jack in the bmws

Any recommendations on second hand city cars. Mainly for school and work runs

I think the reason you see so many is because of the good deals on them. My daughter has one, it's a really solid car, surprisingly roomy and economical. She has a 500S and its much more stylish than the standard models.

Wouldn't have one personally, but 0% finance is decent enough. Voted hot.

FIAT fix it and trade

0% finance is a good deal for what it is, but obviously make sure you haggle a good deal. For example the likes of Broadspeed are offering discounts of between £1k and £3k depending on model.

No point thinking you've done well getting 0% finance then paying list price.

I had a Fiat once. I was young and naive then though...............

0% interest on rrp is basically just that the interest part is hidden in the cost in the first place.
I drive a fiat 500 and can find nothing positive to say about it really. It's a cheap car, made cheaply and priced highly based on a perception that it's retro and funky. Neither of which appeal long after driving a few miles.

Skoda Citigo, basically the same as Seat Mii and VW Up. Good reviews, very economical, road tax next-to-nothing, 5-star NCAP safety rating. You can probably get a fairly new low mileage one for about £5K with a one year warranty from an official Skoda dealer.

Cute and fashionable - and that's about it. Read the reviews. Some models so underpowered they can't get up slopes/hills. You also have to deal with FIAT dealers, which can be a poor experience, and you'll probably be seeing them quite often. Really, you can do better.

Outgoing Ford Ka is the same car in a different suit of clothes.

Now I could be wrong but I think there's an air of disillusionment with the marque appearing here.

Having had the misfortune of driving one of these from Leeds to Glasgow and back... I’ll pass.
one of the 3 worst cars I’ve driven (other being a Nissan micra and the other a Hyundai i10)

Yes because the Fiat 500 is built to rival a bmw ????!...I went to look at a Micra but quality was terrible so bought a Porsche instead .

Yes wife has Fiat 500 lounge and daughter mk2 ka.Ka has had numerous issues even with relative low miles .Fiat has not missed a beat and other than service items nothing has failed in 4 years from new.Build quality is also far superior to the Ka but that's reflected in higher price to buy the 500.

Love my Hyundai i10! Perfect for cheap motoring and if you don't do long commutes.

The consensus in the motoring press is that the best city cars are the VW/Skoda/SEAT triplets - of these you'll get the best value from the Skoda Citigo, the worst from the VW.

When you say second hand you need to determine what sort of price point; some of the other city cars are OK these days (eg KIA/Hyundai or Toyota/Citroen/Peugeot) but that's for the latest generation. If your budget won't stretch to the newer ones then you're looking at considerably inferior cars in the previous generation.

Does it have to be a 'city' car? The Fiesta hasn't been the UK's best selling car year after year for nothing. Plenty around, low prices, not SO much bigger outside but more room for 5 inside and infinitely better if you have the occasional motorway/A road journey.

The latest generation is among the better 'city' cars but it isn't the best. It's also bigger than most.

Most cars can be 'the best' to someone for some reason though.
