good find

Great find.

what type of slicer?

what type of slicer? I have a cutter from Lakeland. does the job well.

i think it's a peeler more than a slicer ?

Voted hot for the detailed description, even thought a pineapple is only 50p in Morrisons.

This is a dangerous deal. Soon aldi will start selling oranges with a squeezer.. Banana with a free banana slicer..

Oh the horrors.

Ours had this offer a few months ago! It's a brilliant slicer. I don't know the specific name but... It's a piece of plastic (in white) with a handle at the top. You push it through the middle of the pineapple and twist the handle, it skins it and cuts the fruit in perfect (and I mean perfect!) circles. I was amazed. It feels cheap but it does the job brilliantly!

this would be a good deal if pineapple wasn't the fruit of satan

cold. homewreckers.

Great description

these work great and no mess quick twist and you have perfect rings bought one a while ago and is fab - would recommend

great find. and couldn't agree more. fruit of satan. vile things that turn up in and ruin what would have been perfectly edible food.
kids love it tho. hot

I've never heard of 'peeling' a pineapple before?!

Pineapples take a while to cut up, you have to cut the outside, cut it into quarters, then cut the core from each quarter, finally cut them to smaller pieces. With a slicer (if it's the same one) you cut the top off and then twist it in, then cut it to pieces. May be a waste if you don't eat pineapple often and haven't tried the tool myself, but at that price it seems a good deal, if it's what I'm thinking of.

Cheap Pineapples has a nice ring to it.

wonder if it wastes a lot of pinapple

Learn how to cut pineapple properly without any waste, here in this video:

And with some professional equipments, see here how it is done and learn some maths too:
