Was from £99 for a suit with free Shoes and Shirt and Tie but if you use voucher code mentioned you get 25% discount - please go to hotukdeals.com/vou…032 and give 'Andywedge' some heat for finding the code.

Loads to choose from and ordered one of the Tailored Fit ones for myself - slightly dearer at £82.50 for the whole package but nicer fit.

The code worked perfectly for me and received Confirmation email as well.

Possible 6% Quidco as well taking a few extra quid off.

nice spot...ordered.

Now my totals aren't working. Coming up as £172. UMM!

Thought the suit offer ended at midnight? That's what the email I got a couple of days ago said. Ordered one a few hours ago for the full £110. Bit gutting if I could've got 25% off.

Same

It's still being advertised as £110, so we are well within our right to get it at that price.. surely.

This actually working for people now? Im peed off tbh. I checked to see if the NUS would stack, and boom, the deal's gone. Annoyed.

So this deal was until midnight? I was just sitting there thinking about whether I should do it or not.. sad face.

nope not working have tried on chrome aswell

Im taking a screenshot, of the suit I want. It's price is clearly defined as £110. Sorry, but if they have a system in place to stop taking orders, then its only fair they remove the said images stating the prices they should be.

T&C's:

burton.co.uk/web…401

No end date mentioned in the T&Cs?
Edited by: "DarrylJohn" 15th Apr 2011

This ended 14/4/11. Still wrong that the prices are still at £110, and £99.

25% Voucher code still works, but free shirt/tie/shoes has expired.

Took a screenshot after ordering. T&C says nothing end date so will hold my ground. If not, cancel...

Anyone else done the same?

darn.... totals are whack!

Get a grip FFS. The deals finished regardless of what's on the website. You have no right to buy at the advertised price even when the deal is running!

Of course you do, what a stupid comment.

If you went into a sony store, looking for a TV, looked at the price.. and they charged you more, of course you would expect it at the cheaper price. Who wouldn't! Mug.

I called them this morning and they said order it and call them and they'll refund the difference

Dimebars is right, prices advertised in a shop are classed as an ITT (Invitation To Treat) e.g you make the offer when you take the items to the checkout, legally the vendor can either accept or decline at that point. Many retailers honour the price purely for customer satisfaction not because they have to.

This became common law in 1953, case Pharmaceutical Society OF Great Britian v Boots Cash Chemists (Southern) Ltd ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharmaceutical_Society_of_Great_Britain_v_Boots_Cash_Chemists_(Southern)_Ltd

I think it's slightly different in that some people were able to order after 12, and other's werent. The price was honoured for lots of people, and if it wasn't for me seeing if the price would stack, I would have had the suit too.

Remember, this is the Internet. There is no distinct "Hey you IP address, you can't have this at this price" - OH damn, im working at 12 at night and im not getting paid... Not in a shop - different case type IMO!

"If it be under the supervision of a pharmacist, the pharmacist can say 'You cannot have that. That contains poison'" - This is under the supervision, of noone. being my point, it is probably automated. As to the reason of the images not being taken down at the same time the offer stopped, which would make sense.

I can't even get the suit I wanted either, would of still only been £120ish all in, they've took them all down bar a remaining few. Useless.

Argue all you like

You are not getting the suit at that price

And I am correct when I say they don't need to sell it to you at that price even when the offer is running.

My goodness, that's pretty rude, and uncalled for as you are, without any shade of doubt, incorrect.
