Damn, bought a 32 inch for the mother in law on Monday. I could have made a few quid there !

So no refunds then.............

Nice to know Sainsburys are supporting England :L

Safe bet for Sainsburys then............ A lot of people also are going to do this with the England shirts.

Another company did this with laptops last time. They were laughing all the way to the bank...

The stars are aligned for a win

why not buy the tv then bet on england not to win the world cup ( place a lay bet on betfair),

that way you would get some monety back regardless of england winning the world cup

Betfair even give new customers £25 when you bet £25, Don't forget Quidco

Guess its a no refund then as England don't have a chance!

How about this....

If England win, I will buy a TV & give it to Sainsbury's

As much as I'd like England to win, I'm sorry but they aren't :-(

You've obviously never met my mother in law.

No chance of getting a refund...England have no chance

England dont really stand much chance of winning

englands comming home its comming home its comming wont be long before they are back in the uk they aint got a chance

Shame there isn't a Spainsbury's offering a similar deal

England are around 5/1 t0 6/1 to win the world cup at the moment, so i would assume when betfair opens before the world cup you could at least get 2/1 on them not winning it.
So if for instance you buy a tv for £500 and lay £100 on England to lose at 2/1, you would have a tv for £100 if they win or £300 if they dont.

OH YES THEY WILL!..........come back 'n' give me loadsa Sh**...........if they dont!

Erm... what's with the cat pic??

The cat looks crazy like this deal

Is this defnitly all Sains TVs and not just the Toshiba offer?

Sainsbury's should have made an option for Scotland............oh.....wait  ;-)

I like the deal, especially if you're in for a new TV anyhow, as its like going down the bookies, makes it more interesting!

Gonna check out my local one later today anyhow, ever the optimist!

I'm assuming this Toshiba 22" isn't in the offer?

Website is down at the mo, so can't check.

Sorry, your maths is completely wrong. If England are 5/1 against to win the World Cup, then they would be worse than 1/5 (5/1 on) not to win it. Therefore, your £100 investment would yield no more than £120 if England got knocked out.
