Nothing is ever free,
though to you it be.
Somewhere, somehow,
someone paid.
Texaco? Can't remember the last time I saw one of them.
Using cashback sites will get you better deals than this. Get your quotes through a (or preferably multiple) comparison site and then see which of the cheapest quotes has the best cashback offer on Quidco or topcashback and go to the insurer direct. If you really must go through confused.com direct then topcashback even offer £30 cash for a confirmed policy which beats this deal.

Check the quote with and without cashback. I did this last time and quote went up by approx the same as cashback amount
I might have been interested had they offered £20 worth of electric charging free

Exactly what I have been doing for years. With my home insurance the cheapest I got one year was £37 after cashback, which paid out fine. Amazing over the years how much it adds up to.
I did this.... I live in the north east..... when my voucher came I discovered there aren’t any and it would cost £20+ in fuel to use it. Suppose I should have checked first...... Parents in Devon were pleased though
Misleading image. Cold
Still haven’t got ours even though we claimed in January!

With any comparison or cashback site you'll need cookies on to track the affiliate links. Private browsing will block that so not really their fault.

It still tracks cookies.....when you close the window then they get deleted. I’ve done this with topcashback and quidco all the time and never had any issues,

I've found the catch. The £20 note in the picture isn't legal tender anymore
Or buy directly from the insurance company and save the £20 in cash instead. Price comparison sites should be used only to get a list of potential insurers, then get your quotes direct.

That’s not always true but yeah, in general that’s the best thing to do, leave the “middle man” out...
Great, £20 gets me 1 leter of fuel at Texaco!

I used to always go via cashback sites, but in the last couple of years it seems the major insurers track referrals to their websites and vary their prices accordingly. As an example, insuring a first time driver recently, was quoted £900+ with Admiral via comparethemarket.com, then using topcashback.co.uk the price before cashback was just under £900 for the same policy, win win you'd think. However, going directly to the Admiral site and entering the same details brought back a price of £702, nearly £200 cheaper for the exact same policy!!

So, worth checking directly, at least with certain providers.
That's only about a litre at Texaco prices
Confused.com quotes are always around £100 more than go compare quotes for me.so cold from me
rubbish these guys could not even get close to my renewal price

Iv only got 4 year ncd because all my other ncd wer on company car and couldnt take them. Yeah Golf R has really been a money loser but still love it even tho im about £1200+ a month more than half of that on fuel
My i30N is cracking fun but like you it's a bit thirsty as low as 12 MPG when giving it some.

About 2003 in Sheffield I think
confused.com has been the worst for quotes over the past 5 years for me

keep your £20 fuel
Does anyone know how to get a quote of Cat N and S cars from confused.com. when you request a quote, it doesn't asks if the car has any category.
