Dymo currently have a promotion where if you buy their LabelWriter label packs, you get a free label printer.

If you purchase cheapest Dymo 1983173 labels on Amazon for £4.79 each then you can get the following label printers:

450 (buy 4 packs of the above labels) - £19.16 (printer currently £53 on Amazon)
4XL (buy 7 packs) - £33.53 (currently £153 on Amazon)
450 Duo (buy 8 packs) - £38.32 (currently £140 on Amazon)

You need to send proof of purchase to Dymo and they will send you the machine within 4 weeks. The promotion is only valid for purchases of labels up to 30th September 2017.

You can buy other Dymo labels to suit your needs (eg larger labels for the 4XL), the list of labels you can use are in the terms on the Get Deal link. I just chose the cheapest labels that were compatible with the machines.

Link to 1983173 labels: amazon.co.uk/Dym…ZJC

I haven't done this myself yet, but did contact Dymo and all the above is correct.

EDIT - PRICE HAS GONE UP ON THE LABELS ON AMAZON, EITHER BUY DIFFERENT LABELS OR USE A DIFFERENT RETAILER.

Well, you come across as a plank. Exactly what's wrong is this blame culture in the UK. If you don't get what you want when you want it, you resort to a claim or compensation. No patience or or sense of decorum, but rather "I feel hard done by even though it's a freebie, so I'll take it to court". Rather sad way to live.

Either way, ignored so I don't have to read your ramblings. Enjoy planning your next day trip to the courts.
For those that aren't selling them on ebay, don't forget to register on the dymo site for the three year warranty.

I think it's because you come across as an absolute tool.
I've just discovered that this deal is even better than anticipated as in addition to the 3 free printers, Dymo have just refunded me £50, in accordance with the 40% cashback promotion, provided the labels were ordered between 1 September and 30th September, which will clearly apply to a lot of people!

I'm not totally sure on the HUKD etiquette for this type of thing but given that this deal has been expired, I created a new deal for the "combined" promotion here.

So just to confirm to get the 4XL I need to buy 7 of these £4.... labels????
Edited by: "AJ92" 2nd Sep 2017
Amazon is now saying those labels are out of stock. Viking seem to have them at the same price but when I add to the cart it says there was an issue. Anyone found the labels at a good price elsewhere?

I ordered them from Amazon before they were out of stock but it said they'd dispatch 14th September. Amazon won't give you an invoice till they've been dispatched so just delays the whole process really. I'd rather order the labels somewhere else and cancel the Amazon order.

Yes 7 in the same order, I'd suggest getting it from one of the retailers in the drop down on the application form (Amazon is one of them) just to make sure it goes through smoothly

With this many orders Amazon will despatch quicker, I've rarely had to wait for the advertised delivery date with Amazon.
Same labels are instock at staples for £44 with free del. Also 8% cashback
Sorry £52 inc vat
Sign up with staples and get free next working day delivery on order above £36.
Invoice will be sent after parcel is dispatched

S0722370 = £6.57 a roll
not a good deal as the original, but still a good deal IMO if people want a label writer.
£46 for 7

No, click the link and you have to choose from one of the approved retailers.
So the bundled rolls (2 packs) aren't eligible for the offer right?

If you are referring to the S0722370's I think they are but please double check. The smaller labels normally come as packs of two I believe whereas the larger ones are single rolls. I normally buy compatibles.

Sorry, got that wrong as the labels the OP suggested are single packs of the 28*89 so must be available as single or double. Still appears the double packs are eligible though.
Would one of these be fine for moderate ebay use? I've been toying with the idea of a label printer for a while. I read to avoid Dymo as their labels are expensive but I see you can get third party compatible labels pretty cheap. I can't see any drawbacks with this deal really.

They are great for address labels . I use the 450.

Anyone remember hotukdeals.com/dea…438
This might help people:
The 2 x pack (S0722370) is in stock and is listed as an eligible purchase item to qualify for the printer!
It's £6.57 BUT you're getting double the number of labels and it is prime so is guaranteed next day delivery.
It costs £45.99 using this method do you're paying £12 more but are getting nearly 1,000 more labels meaning they are costing you 1.2p per label

I actually used S&S to save me more money by changing the delivery date to next week and adding 4 cheap items to unlock the 15% discount. I figured I use the extra £4.50 saving to absorb the cost of the S&S items making them cheap/free.

Go for it! You'll never look back. Just buy cheap compatible ones when you've used these ones up.

You could resell all the labels in theory and buy cheap non-dymo ones.
10 rolls of fake ones for £8.99 delivered on eBay!

These Dymo rolls seem to sell for around £8 on eBay if you planned on selling them and selling the Dymo 4XL also btw.
Could net you £100+ profit easily after fees and shipping if you decided you didn't want it.
