A lot of things are overpriced in life lets face it. But you know, if and when you are feeling a little flush, some of us do happen to like to live a little...splurge out.....

Beer is overpriced in pubs compared to buying bottles in supermarkets.
Coffee is overpriced in coffee shops, sandwiches are overpriced in many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
Greggs savoury pastries are overpriced and underfilled.

But you know in our little deprived Britain, if the wife and I want to go shopping once in a while and pop into the working class establishment of Krispy Kreme for a doughnut and a coffee, guess what...we live a little
So let me get this right, that's two, admittedly fancy, doughnuts for £1.90? And it's a hot deal because it would normally be a fancy doughnut for £1.90?

Are they 6" diameter or something?

I see you are new to site but getting to grips with how it works.

You are getting two donuts for the price of one.

I’m not sure how the op could have made that any clearer

I am obviously not new to the site but, yes, I could have been clearer.

My comment was not about the deal, after all, two for one is usually a good deal and well spotted OP and thanks for taking the trouble to post it. My comment was more about the cost of these doughnuts to start with. Even at BOGOF they are, in my opinion, very expensive for what they are. Hopefully that clarifies matters and pitchforks can be stood down

They are the standard price for Krispy Kreme.

You can clearly see from the photo that these are premium donuts and not your bog standard sugar coated rings available elsewhere.

I could perhaps understand what you were saying if it was a deal for the original glazed they do but not in this case.

You are incorrect

That is all that’s required. These get posted on here a lot.

The reward code underneath purely add points on the op rewards card so isn’t allowed to be shared as referrals aren’t allowed.

I got the exact same email about an hour ago. No doubt it will be on the app later today or tomorrow.

So say that in your first comment then.
Wouldn't trust buying them from the cabinets never know who's been touching them then putting them back.
If you’re not careful, doughnuts lead to bad things

Gap in the market?
never understood the big deal about these dougnuts.
So really expensive for what they are, even at effectively half price.

Nah, at half price/BOGOF, they are just right. At original price though, yeah, way overpriced.

Are you joking? Unless your standards peak at Jam or Custard specials from Morrisons, you'll find at under a pound each these are brilliant price. These aren't simple to make, contain more expensive ingredients and I guess the KK branding carries a premium too. I don't personally eat them but these do look nice and they really aren't that expensive.
Bear in mind folks, an americano coffee will cost you around £2.20-£2.60 in many a coffee shop...a cake or biscuit snack on top anywhere roughly from £1-£3.

This is where Krispy Kreme doughnuts enter the realm of reasonable price for a filled doughnut, as a mug of coffee and a doughnut is £3.25
is it valid in Tesco Express stores as well?

Nah you didn't need to be clearer, you were perfectly clear already. Some people will just find a way to call out an opinion over something they like no matter how you word it. I agree, they're overpriced AF, but I'll admit that they are nice.

The deal with these doughnuts is that they taste GOOD and if people like them and are willing to "splash" for them, then why not.

They taste very nice and they are very soft. So yeah, you can stick to the bone dry plain Tesco branded ones I guess.
You can get doughnuts in the supermarkets, doughnuts in Greggs (these are pretty good actually) but when you need the King of Doughnuts you go to Krispy Kreme
