Thanks Matty - I had the devils own job finding the deal - your link just goes to the main page, so if you don't mind, here's the link to the "specials" page; and Hymie Bond is on the second row, in the middle.

There's nothing that says they're Ultimate Edition either - but the catalogue number comes up as the U.E., so as a BOGOF, that's a seriously good result.

Thanks Mattyholmes welcome to hukd's

Thanks Timbellina for giving us the direct link

seems a waste of cash when the HD versions are due out soon and they will be much better with far more extras thats why dvds are dropping so fast, besides how many more times they gonna re sell the same sets over and over and call them summit else just like george lucas. id bet that soon anyways the bond set will be doing a special offer on the whole lot once the HD sets arrive IMHO.

they also have these sets coming out at the same sort of time:

5 DVDs per set at £28 each set. 4 sets. About the same price but in a nice box. lol

where do I start!! HD will mean nothing unless you got a HD tv, even then upsampling dvd players do a fantastic job. I certainly wont go replacing my whole collection with hd versions I'll be happy to pick cheap dvds up for a while yet

as for reselling the same sets over and over.... these are the re-mastered editions with extras. They have never released these? Except in the current big boxset, the smaller box sets, and as individual films. Which is fair enough as people might want varying amounts of them (or at a time).

I agree perhaps that they might discount them after HD arrives, but I think we;re talking LONG after HD arrives. HD stuff is pretty thin right now and its gonna be a couple years before its full swing I think.....

I have yet to see a release date or even a suggestion that they are bringing the Bond films out in HD. As far as I am aware, these boxsets have just or are about to be released in the States.
