Again!
Good price?
Well I just bought Ronseal decking stain 5 litre for £33 including postage. Wickles sells 2,5 litre for £28. So it is still way more expensive compared to other shops.

There must be many ways to avoid that problem but I always used to use a bucket and now if I remember a 20 litre or so container with lid

You must drive well.
Was going to buy some furniture and fence paint last week. Glad I held off thanks op
Be aware that if you need to return any excess tins, Wickes require both parts of the BOGOF deal to be returned i.e. you cannot return one tin and expect them to refund 50%. This is unlike B&Q and Homebase where they can reflect multi-deals in refunds. I moaned when picking up my recent paint order and staff said that’s their policy.
There will be some good prices after the BOGOF is added, but the current prices are very poor. Plus £8 delivery... I remember why I never buy anything from there now.

Yeah, i'll probably collect if they include the clear preservative in the deal as It'll be a pretty good price with the bogof offer.
Excellent deal, although if you have a Homebase closer (& if you need alot of paint) Homebase have a 3 for 2 on all Dulux, Cuprinol & Weathershield, I’ve just reserved 3 9litre tins of Cuprinol Ducksback for £36, that works out at £12 for each tin or £1.33 per litre compared to £1.40 for the Wickes offer. I have 15 new fence panels to paint over the weekend.

Thanks. I bought 12x 5l tins from Wilko for £8 last week.

This Homebase deal works out the best.

Thanks. I’ll return all unused tins to Wilko!
Sneaky. At 11pm last night it was £22 for a 2.5l can of Garden Shades on the Wickes website. Logged on this morning and it’s up to £34.

At bogof it works out at £17 a can, which is more than it currently is in Wilko (£16).

Still shows £22? £11 each?

£34 is the 5 litre not 2.5l so ten litres for £34 - Wilko is also 2.5 so wickes still cheaper by £5 a tin

Haha - I was thinking what have they done that for - never mind - it was early!
The Garden Shades offer from Wickes is a great price for the 5L tin at £34, that's a pretty decent offer if you need a lot, or even the 2.5L for £11 per tin effectively.

Stock up on the 5L tins, which in the offer is £8.50 per 2.5L tin as I'm going of tins then give the unwanted remaining tins to your local Community Repaint scheme

Not long done our fences down the side of the house and garden in the Garden Shades Urban Slate (18 in total), It's such a nice colour once it's dried. I did get the Ducksback Silver Copse at first to try on 1 panel, but it's a lighter shade of grey, still a nice colour but I personally prefer the Urban Slate.

The best price at the time was B&M at £15 a tin for 2.5L, or if they had stock the 5L tin was good.
It's been £8 a tin in Wilko's for weeks
Thanks for posting OP got 2 tins of the maple decking stain for £27, happy with that.

I did similar in the boot of my car in the B&Q Leyton car part a few years ago, 10ltr paint, ended up spilling 7.5ltr of it in the boot!
If they have sold out of the paint you want you can pay for it and they will order it for you

Wow, excellent work!
You thought about starting your own car cleaning service?
;-)
We put the ducksback paint on the fence panels last year and it is wax based so water just beads on it and falls off. Only thing is that the colour we picked is too bright compared to the picture after putting it on, a year later and its faded and is much better.

Old man grumbles here but what really gets on my tits is when people shove their dirty food wraps / bags etc down the side of the door rests or under the seats. Why oh why not just take your rubbish with you.. Grrrr!
