Thanks, nice one

Wow that seems cheap.
Shame I'm not really interested in Lego Batman.
And the camera, well you need that as part of the MOVE thingy.
Oh and I don't know about the keyboard either, don't have a keyboard solution at the moment and cross game chat doesn't look like it is going to be here for a while.

Oh what a quandary.

Keyboard offer is hot due to the free game as cheapest I have seen it recently is £21 at tesco on its own. However the camera offer is not so hot as my local HMV were doing Eye pet and the camera for £20.

For those who are only interesting in the camera for Sony's upcoming "Move" motion controller this is a great way of getting the camera cheap by selling Lego Batman after, Cex are currently offering £4 cash so including the voucher and quidco you end up getting a brand new camera for ~£16.

In regards to the keyboard, if you have space consider purchasing a cheap USB keyboard.

Happy gaming,
Scar

When you go to your basket there should be a small box giving you the opportunity to put in a voucher code, enter the code posted by goonertillidie to get the item at the listed price - I do not know whether you can use the code twice to get both items at the listed price each, if not perhaps you can make a second account on mymemory.

Hope everything goes well with your order.

I have decided to purchase this myself in order to get the Playstation Eye camera as cheap as possible (after selling Lego Batman and in the hope that Quidco tracks) - with this I look forward to investing on the Playstation Move at its release.

Happy gaming,
Scar

I believe you have misunderstood the deal, the listed price is for either the Playstation Eye/Keypad for £20.89 each (upon entering the voucher code), not together. Buying either one also awards you with a free copy of Lega Batman for the Playstation 3.

Happy gaming nonetheless, as posted before one workaround from buying a Playstation Keypad would be to buy a basic (and cheap) USB keyboard.

Oh snap I in-fact misunderstood you! I apologise.

What I done was just add the Playstation Eye to the basket and went to the checkout without putting Lego Batman. I'm assuming that it will be delivered with the game - hope that is the case, perhaps others who have ordered can enlighten us with additional information.

Again sorry for the misunderstanding,
Scar

Yeh, if only I was into the Lego series. Always fancied the keypad but not into Lego Batman at all.

Nice deal tho.

Also Quidco/Topcashback is only 10% on R4 products? Whats an R4 product? Everything else seems to be 4%.

Don't knock "LEGO Batman" until you've played it. I enjoy playing all the LEGO-themed games like this ("Indiana Jones" [series], & "Star Wars" [series]). I haven't tried "LEGO Rock Band" yet though.

A playable demo for the new "LEGO Harry Potter" title ("Years 1 to 4") was available on the US PlayStation Store yesterday, so hopefully the European Store will have that available (to non-PlayStation Plus subscribers) later today.

Back to this deal...

I have a (Japanese) "Stormtrooper" (White/Black) DUALSHOCK 3 controller with an official wireless keyboard sat on top of it. I never use either device. The DUALSHOCK 3 I find too heavy (although irrelevant for purposes of keypad usage) & the keypad buttons are too small for my elephant-paw shaped digits.

It is a great idea (probably bettered by the Xbox controller slot-in implementation) as a standard USB keyboard (or even a "mini" or reduced size version) is just a pain to juggle on your lap when holding a controller & trying to type something in the heat of an online battle to somebody who just cannot wait to send you a message until after you have stopped playing (or your console is off!).

However, in practice, the USB keypad I find I cannot use as quickly as I would like due to the size of the keys. I had the same problem with my iPhone on-screen keyboard for a few weeks too until I got used to it, so it may be that I just have not used the official wireless keypad regularly enough, but since buying it (on 21 December 2008 from a GAME store, with the DUALSHOCK 3 being imported from Japan via eBay on 10 January 2008) I have never felt the need to beyond the first few times I "tried it out". The keypad was first available in the UK on 28 November 2008, and was out of stock almost everywhere for three weeks. I paid the original recommended retail price (£24.99) & the devices continued to sell-out or have low stocks for a number of months. The UK (& the rest of Europe) also had the device before the US (for once)!

Note that the keypad is designed to be directly attached to the controller. It can be used 'standalone' but doesn't balance very well due to the clip at the back that is used to wrap-around to the underside of the controller it is supposed to sit on top of. There is an internal battery (that charges by the same mini-USB connection as the SIXAXIS/DUALSHOCK 3 controllers) & has an independent Bluetooth connection to your PS3 console. It is not connected to the controller electronically or by way of any cabling.

BFN,

fp.

Nice, camera ordered,

We just use a cheap Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, but having said that it's for Everybody's Golf:World Tour so not quite "in the heat of battle" but it works fine and it's nice and light.
This is a hot deal for those who want it!

Hope that clears everything up.

Update @ 2:03PM:
My order has been despatched - here's to hoping that Lego Batman does end up with the package.

Update @ 3rd July:
Arrived today with Lego Batman included, good stuff.

The Eye camera is needed for Move, but the pack with the camera in is only about £5-10 more on pre-order at the moment I think. Still a great deal with the game though!

Good deal, heat added.
Unfortunately i already own "Lego Batman" on the Xbox 360.
However it isn't my favourite of the "Lego" games, so i hardly played it.

Mine turned up with game in the bag, wicked.
