Buy two wired/battery-powered Nest Protect Devices for £162.00 @ Travis Perkins

Decent price for the wired Nest Protect if you are planning to get two. Works out at £81 each when you use the 10% off voucher (only possible if spending £150 or more exc. VAT). Can potentially get a few % further off through Quidco.

I have another post with the BTShop link to battery-powered Nest Protect which works out cheaper for that power source. That also allows you to purchase a single device and still get a good price.

No idea why this is going cold bud. Your other post is 500+, and this is only a couple of quid more and actually has stock. Heat from me.
Yes, thought people should know about the availability here for not much more. Maybe because it requires buying two? Though for most houses I would think you need two, with one per floor. Oh well the tos and fros of HUKD!

Thanks for your support.
These seem to regularly drop below £80 these days, so that's probably the reason for the lack of heat.

That's only for the battery-powered ones now. Hence my post here because these actually have stock of the mains-powered ones currently.
And those BT Shop ones are out of stock now
Well I planned to get two wired ones from the BT Shop thread but my lethargy meant that I missed it. For an extra, what, 4 quid that's basically like a delivery charge. And if the 3% Quidco goes through then that pretty much negates the extra cost (not that I'm expecting it to, but worth a punt). Heat added.

£4.05 tracked via Quidco. Assuming it doesn't get rejected due to the 10% off code, that would make me 5p up over the BT Shop deal. Suck it, downvoters!

Besides, the BT Shop one is entirely out of stock of both wired and battery now.
why cold???
Usually if the price drops it’s because they are old stock, so you don’t get the full 10 years of life. Therefore the price is just a percentage. Two years old stock, pay 80%.

Well obviously I don't know what future purchasers will get, but I ordered two 3 days ago - they are due to expire in May 2028.

So I lost 2 months yes, but not in proportion to the discount!

That’s a great deal for a great product!
Luckily I said “usually”
Heat from me. I bought one of the BT Shop ones and fitted last night. It's great. Even the wife approved.
So need to get another 2, one for the loft which has some wiring I can use, and one for the ground floor, which needs a battery one; and looks like I can get one of each and still do the discount.

Thanks, OP!
Customer services are reporting back as OOS for the wired version with no ETA
