I tested this today and still works
you will get funny looks when you spend £615 on gift cards but saving upto £61 on fuel can't be sniffed at
Rember it's 1p off per £10 gift card

1p of cat liter no a great deal

At 1p for every £10 of gift card doesnt £615 spend give you 61pence?

I think maybe it hasnt been explained clearly but that you will get an accumulated penny off for each £10 gift voucher and then get 61p off every litre of fuel.

the picture shows 61p off not 1p

Which on a full tank of a car would be about £40ish. Not bad if you wanted the gift cards anyway or could make use of them for something you were gonna get anyway. Ideally land your plane at the petrol station and use the voucher for a full tank lol

I think what the OP is saying is you get an accumulating penny for each £10 gift voucher you buy. That would then reach 61p (maybe a limit) off a litre of fuel.

So a saving of around 40p when I fill up? Wowsers deal of a lifetime!

Not really worth it with a 40ish litre tank

The one drawback I see with this is, if you buy something using Gift Cards from a shop, and then return it because it's not what you want or is faulty, you only get Gift Cards back for that store , you can never get your money back and say go elsewhere to buy.

It's 1p off per litre for every £10 gift card you buy.
So if you buy £1000 of gift cards you will receive £1 per litre of fuel up to 100 litres a saving of £100.

You can make smaller purchases and add the vouchers together so 2 x £100 gift card purchases will give 20p off per litre up to 100 litres giving a £20 saving.

Heads up though Morrisons is withdrawing the fuel saver scheme as of 11th July 2016.

You can just buy £1000 of Amazon vouchers to save £60 on your 60 litre tank - there's no limit on savings per litre.

We must all get through £1000 on Amazon every year so all you're doing is putting money in the Amazon bank to spend later.

This is still a terrible deal spend £1000 to save £60 and be stuck with gift cards?

My cars got a 70L tank so it's a 7% discount/saving for me, that on top of the 5% Amazon student discount makes this a good deal to me, especially if there's something you're actually going to buy from Amazon in the first place?
I have bought gift cards from Amazon before, just not that amount in one go but still a saving!!

Do we??? Oh ok then if you say so

I have a 80 litre fuel tank and use a 20 litre Jerry can.

it depends on what you are planning on buying, however if you pay for larger purchases via voucher instead of a credit card, you lose any section 75 protection you would normally get

Handy if you would use the vouchers for gifts eg Christmas, birthday or just as a gift for a friend.

Not if your buying stuff from that shop anyway, like buying a £1000 TV from currys, for example.

This is exactly what I did, A new phone for my little sister and bbq for mother and I got £61 off fule (68lt car 2x20lts metal jerry cans)

The last day to get this is TOMORROW!

They are pulling this to reduce the incentive from 10% to 2.5%. I will not be buying any more vouchers from morrisons now
